Nah, you shouldn’t need to. I only said to try another port just in case your USB kext wasn’t setup correctly but if the ports are working otherwise that probably won’t be the issue. Not sure what’s causing the problem. Mine works with no driver, etc.

Don't delete it unless you delete it from the config.plist as well...Otherwise just set the "Enabled" line in the config.plist to "NO".

Have you tried different USB Ports? I just tried a USB-ETH adapter I have which happens to be RealTek based as well and it works just fine on Sonoma. Also, perhaps make sure that the Intelmausi kext is not enabled in OC.

My point is that if you want to be successful, correcting the known problems first is the best course of action. Some things aren't always obviously interrelated.

I suspect you're running into a combination of things. You need the EC ssdt regardless of the USB portion to disable your actual EC device and create a fake one. I'd start with that before experimenting in other areas.

It should, it's USB. If you're referring to the G1, that is. The G2 are all PCI based and there's no driver. I toyed with writing one a while back but unfortunately my Elite has met with an unfortunate accident... :-/

Haven't had a chance to test it yet but have been looking through your code a bit. I doubt the others would want to incorporate a userland fix for stylus pressure but you should submit a PR with your fix for #317.
