GT 610 in Sierra:
Your mileage might vary. Apparently using nv_disable=1 during bootup for the install process gets it to work (likely without full acceleration support) so you can install the web drivers. Once those are installed, remove nv_disable=1 from the boot args for full acceleration.
I do not use Filevault so I cannot answer that question. NVRAM, however, can be emulated via Clover's install options. In fact, if you update Clover, you can choose the option to install the RC scripts that handle NVRAM along with the emulation driver.
As for the injector question, no I was...
Don't forget to add the clover patch for handoff if you need it.
EDIT: I am hoping you only installed either the injector kext; or data + RAM2; or repo + RAM2. If you "installed" everything in that zip file then you need to remove all but one of the combination just mentioned...

This link has the BCM20702A1_001.002.014.1315.1338_v5434 firmware (located in the repo kext/directory). Just open up the Info.plist inside BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and add an entry for 0a5c_22be (if that is...
The quick solution is to install BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext. The other option is to use an older version of BrcmPathRAM2 as Rehabman suggested to grab the firmware and then modify the more recent releases to make use of the firmware.
To simply get a running system, I would find a cheap graphics card on ebay. A GT 610/620 or GT 710/720 generally sells for cheap. A used one can be had for $25-$30 USD (you will likely need to buy a low profile bracket, though) and 4 more GB of RAM (for a total of 8GB) so that you are not using...
What is the Vendor ID and Product ID for the BCM20702A0? Are the kexts actually loaded? Check under Bluetooth (for VID/PID) and under Extensions (for kexts) when viewing your System Information under About this Mac.
Audio should work with VoodooHDA drivers. As for sleep, what SMBIOS are you using? Unless I am mistaken, macs do not recognize devices plugged in while sleeping (at least not on any of my real macs). They are only recognized when plugged in when the machine is awake _and_ you are logged in. Are...
The 790 will require legacy boot mode, but the 7010 should be able to use UEFI boot. You should not need a USB sound device if you are willing to use the VoodooHDA drivers. The ones on Multibeast do not work; download them from Sourceforge directly. Regarding graphics cards, you can use pretty...
Actually, the stock PSU should be just fine even with a GTX 1050 TI. These machines do not really use that much power. I mainly use the cheap GT 610/620 or GT 710/720 that you can get on ebay for $25.00 (just search for Dell Nvidia GT). Any card that does not require additional power (12V 4-pin...
I wonder if you are using the VoodooHDA drivers. If so, just edit the Info.plist file and change the igain value to 0 (I think it defaults to 90). Rebuild your kext cache and restart and you should no longer have any more sound pops on power-up.
Can you list your hardware components? In Linux, you can open a terminal and type in:
sudo lspci -vv -n > pci.txt
This saves the output to a file called pci.txt
Bluetooth works just fine. Depending on which bluetooth chip they slapped onto the card, you may need to use the BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext from Rehabman (or possibly BrcmPatchRAM/BrcmPatchRAM2).
The bluetooth drivers can be found in the $WinPEDriver$\AppleBluetoothBroadcom64\ folder of the Bootcamp zip file.
1. Go to the Device Manger (one way is to right-click on Computer, select Properties, and then Device Manager in the left pane).
2. Expand the Bluetooth Radios group and look for...
For anyone interested in a cheaper solution:

Seems like I am having no luck with a good EDID. The one returned by Windows is for a generic PnP Monitor, it would seem. Then again, EDID it return seems like the right one (identifies the manufacturer as SEC with model 0300). I found a single link to a Samsung Ultrabook NP530U4B review that...
I am not sure what you mean by "Intel Graphics app" -- is this an official Intel software package? Supposing that once I try this method for extracting EDID, do you think I should try to install a legacy version of Clover (as opposed to UEFI)?
Thanks for the tip!
I ended up just patching my DSDT with the EDID; this at least produced an image but it appears very "noisy". That is, when DSMOS arrives, and the display switches from the apple logo (or boot messages in -v mode) to the desktop, I see lots of "snow" (like an untuned TV). Then when the desktop...
Should I patch the EDID directly into SSDT, then? I checked my config.plist and is has both InjectEDID set to true and CustomEDID with the data from my extracted EDID. What could cause the injection to not go through?
As a side question, how do I force Clover to save a log file? I though that...
