Today I did a new install of OS X and MultiBeast.
Important to know is that rev. 1.1 of the GA-G41MT-S2PT motherboard has an ALC889 audio chip (not the ALC887 as the rev. and 2.1). The Gigabyte website doesn't specify the audio chip, so I checked the motherboard myself.
For audio I...
The Celeron E3400 has two cores and two threads in OS X.
Works great with OS X 10.7 Lion.
Have you prepared a USB with UniBeast and OS X 10.7.x?
That's the easiest way of installing OS X on a Hackintosh.
My build was under € 400 with HD3000 and without DVD.

A forum has numerous builds that costs less than $800
For $800 you can have a I5-2500K cpu in it ...
My next build could be:
- Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz (socket 1155)
- Gigabyte GA-H61M-D2-B3 (socket 1155)
-...
1. Your parts look ok.
The GA-H61M-D2-B3 with I3-2100 cpu is a common combination, which is very close to the recommended CustoMac builds
And simular to my second Hackintosh (only with I3-2120 cpu).
Should work fine.
Also quite simular to the PovoMac

2. PSU? The...
Don't forget to buy a power supply too or choose a case with psu. ;)
Your ebay seller has them too...

yep :D
It's a small variance on the CustoMac 2011 builds
... and my second Hackintosh build had the GA-H61M-D2-B3 and I3-2105 cpu .. it works!
however i would buy DDR3 memory. 2x 4GB cost £ 37

or 2x 2GB for £ 21...
won't work
Because the cpu is socket 1156 and the mobo is socket 1155.
Better choose the Intel I3-2105 cpu, which has HD3000 integrated graphics and is more powerful. Cost £ 103

This worked for me:
Large hard drive (4k sector issue)
Because I use a large hard drive with a 4k sector, booting from the hard drive will throw a boot0 error. This can be solved.
- boot from the USB, choose to boot from hard disk with boot option "-s"
- type "fsck -fy" and wait to complete
-...
You only need to add a CPU, a GPU and RAM, right?
So the cheapest socket 1155 CPU at this moment, is the Intel Celeron G530 (about € 38) Next a GeForce 210 videocard (about € 28).
And compatible RAM ... 2x 2GB DDR3 is about € 24
Plus a license of OS X Lion (€ 23).
So € 38 + € 28 + € 24 + € 23...
Which version of the motherboard do you have?
Because I saw at the Gigabyte website that rev 2.0 has an VIA audio codec... and my rev 1.1 has a Realtek Audio codec...
No, I don't use a DSDT (see my install post)
I used the EasyDSDT option from MultiBeast.
The 3rdParty SATA is installed, just because it was recommended.
I don't think that is making a difference here.
The following MultiBeast options should work for you:
- EasyDSDT Install
- System Utilities...
You don't have to use the USB stick.
Remove the GPU and just boot from your hard drive.
At the Chimera boot screen, you can manually override the settings by typing GraphicsEnabler=No and <return> to start ... (without changing the installation).
Here are some pictures.

It's mini-ITX, so not much space to work with.
Especially the cables and fans.
How ever a lot bigger then a real Mac mini... (135x220x345mm versus 36x197x197mm)

Then again a Mac mini with 500GB drive and 2GB RAM cost € 599 and...
