    [Success] -Z77X-UD5H, i7-3770K, GTX670 2gb, Vengeance 32GB running 10.8.4

Congratulations on getting it working so fast. Now all is fine be sure not to be tempted to do any migration assistants to, for example, a Mac laptop. This slip-up has caused me no end of headache despite much chatting with Sandisk HQ. I originally had problems by trying to be too clever and...

    problems booting SSD

I have had problems with my system since using my hackintosh to load settings to a new Macbookair. My machine started to die after trying to wake from sleeping, needing the CMOS battery to be removed before it would do anything again. I could boot from the 2 HDDs but no longer from my SSD (that...

Can't fix boot0:done problem caused by Migration Assistant.

I am having exactly the same problem for the same reason - migrating settings to a Macbook. I did have the Boot0: error with a 1Tb disk but this new problem is with a SSD The message is boot0: GPT boot0: test boot0: test boot0: done boot0: error NOT boot0: GPT boot0: test...

Closed Thread: For FYI only > [GUIDE] 10.8 / How to enable HD4000

10.8 / How to enable HD4000 I have the same hardware it seems as hackintoshx86, so I have tried following this exactly. I have just done a clean install of 10.8.2, changed to iMac12,2 and the rest of it. But, as before, I get a KP with the string inserted.

10.8 / How to enable HD4000 I am having very similar problems to rasterbate, so I am very interested to see how you get on. I bought the recommended items for a budget mac assuming, wrongly, that it would be relatively easy to set up. I have a rather old monitor connected to the D-sub port of...

Z77X-UD5H and i5-3570K: not successful so far...

Z77X-UD5H and i5-3570K: not entirely successful so far... OK so I edited the title slightly... I am now certainly up and running but I am still having some significant problems. I want to use imovie but I get the Quartz Extreme message. Will the i5 and the z77x not run Quartz extreme? From past...

Z77X-UD5H and i5-3570K: not successful so far...

Many thanks Mirko. I installed F14 and then attacked OEMsmbios.kext and it is working! It seems to be doing a few odd things like not responding to F12 at boot and freezing up when I connect a firewire drive but at least it is working! Bravo Tonymac.

Z77X-UD5H and i5-3570K: not successful so far...

Many thanks, Bob. That has indeed solved the boot error problem. On rebooting I get a quick glimpse of the unibeast screen followed by the silver Apple/mesmeric wheel screen. Unfortunately it never gets past this still.

Z77X-UD5H and i5-3570K: not successful so far...

I chose the hardware from the recommended 2012 buys so I am confident that someone/many must have got this set-up to work. All went well until multibeast. I persistently get: boot 0: GPT boot 0: test boot 0: test boot 0: GPT boot 0: test boot 0: test boot 0: error If I choose the flash...

UniBeast: Install OS X Mountain Lion on Any Supported Intel-based PC

Re STEP ONE: I am about to build my first hackintosh, based around the customac 2012 ivybridge pro build. I have ordered the bits then went to the Mac store to buy 10.8.2, but i was refused because my current Mac does not support it. Is there a way round this? thanks
