I cannot get in using any of these methods - have got it to recognize time machine backup so will restore last good version of SL and start again from there.
rboot came up with message cannot find mach_kernel
I used the tonymac Xmove to upgrade from 10.6.8 to Lion ( from app store now 10.7.2)
Xmove ran fine and confirmed Lion had been installed on SL partition, However whenI rebooted I got kernel panic ( screenshot of -v boot attached).
I cannot get past this and I cannot get Iboot to let me boot...

great this worked, I still had to install with
GraphicsEnabler=NO and -x
I ran multibeast easybeast option and changed the setting to put GraphicsEnabler=NO in the installed chamelon boot.
All booting and running OK now - But need to work through sound, network etc to check whether they are...
i've checked all the bios settings and they are OK. by using
-x PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=NO -v
to boot installation I got most of the way through installation before the PC crashed and restarted. but did not reboot. So I inserted the iboot dik and it showd up the snow leopard partiton...
Any suggestion how I get any further latest boot attempt i used -x -v,
things appeared to be going OK for a while then stalled.

I installed a different dvd-rw (GH-22LS50, the nearest I could find to those listed as good options in the database).
I have tried -x PCIRootUID=1 and just -x both just hang at the white screen with the grey apple and the rotating grey thing below, after a while the dvd drive stops being...
There is no boot option just the apple on a white screen and the little sunray/hourglass going round. no keystrokes get a response other than setting the dvd spinning again.
