You can do it, use the uefi to award utility to switch back... just be warned, same dangers (power failure, etc) in changing any BIOS file still apply and can render the mobo useless... But I switched to UEFI, back to Award, and back again to UEFI with no issues (all in order to test hardware...

*Update* Try the flag PCIRootUID=0 on both install and post-install... Tested and worked... after Multibeast corrected the need for such flags... Wish I had found this gem earlier... Hope it helps you...
