Hello, I'm using ALC889 audio codec installed through multi-beast and I'm getting no microphone output using iPhone headphones in the mic ports both front an rear with a Gigabyte Z68-XP-UD4 motherboard. Also, is there a way to have both input/output with the headphones similar to MacBook Pro's...
Even without IGPlatformID it switches off the integrated display at AppleScreen and switches to the two discrete displays on only. I can turn it back on with PCIRootUID=0 but then QE/CI doesn't work on the integrated display. Is there somewhere I can message you to help me troubleshoot this...
So, I had this stable for a few days in Mavericks but now the integrated display has glyphs and becomes inactive once I enter my password in the log-in screen. My other 2 displays are fine.
With a clean install:
Mavericks 10.9.4 / Gigabyte Z68-XP-UD4 BIOS F3 / i7-2600k / Intel HD3000 +...
Finally got this working toleda! Thanks so much. Although, I did change sysdef to MacPro3,1 in order to get rid of speaker pop during wake up and it still works fine.
Well then how do I keep it from switching to my other display after logging in? If I don't check that option, my onboard display works but once i login it stays on the loading screen while my other displays go to my desktop.
I check Mixed Graphics when I run MultiBeast.. otherwise when apple boots up it switches off the monitor connected to onboard. Could that be part of the issue?
So.. I've got this working but not consistently. When I reset, it reverts back without QE/CI.
Then I have to reapply my MultiBeast settings which seems to only work sometimes. Anyone have any idea why this happens?
Thanks in advance.
So, I've got the three monitors up and running but have run into another issue with the intel HD3000. It shows that it is only using 7MB of memory and QE/CI isn't working properly. ANy suggestions on how to deal with this issue?
