Would like an answer for gf710 as well with Ventura. Wait for a patch, or throw away and look for another GPU?

I tried this as well on my legacy GA-H67N-USB3. Went well until after user sign in. Just got the spinning disk forever over the log in screen. Restored from backup. I'm also running lilu. I wonder if this could be the issue?

I've tried upgrading to High Sierra now multiple times, using various methods and suggestions from these forums. So far without success. Usually halts 2/3 way thru' the install with the prohibited sign. I'd be interested to see how you fare. cheers, JAv

I've tried various methods but so far always get the no smoking sign 2/3 of the way thru the install loading! Verbose shows that it hangs on looking for the SSD but I've tried various fixes such as AppleAHCIport_v.328.kext, etc. I've also tried USB as well as direct install from Sierra disk...

... and here as well. Currently running Sierra & booting with Clover. The only problem (since Clover eliminated audio loss), is very randomly, the system will permanently freeze requiring a hard restart. I've never gotten to the bottom of this, and it's very infrequent. cheers

That's what I thought, but this is what finally got me audio? Could there be something enabled/not enabled in Clover to make me need the kext in there? 6 series board with Clover running in the Sierra folder (not EFI)

Finally found the solution to this after days of scratching my head. Needed HDAEnabler kext in the Clover kexts folder as attached.

I've used each one since it came out ; 10.11.4, 5, 6. Each one still gives me video issues and reverting back to 10.11.3 after each one solves them.

No but wouldn't hurt I guess. I ruled out a hardware issue, as reverting back to 10.11.3 solves it repeatedly.

Am having video problems (black rectangles/white or black horz. lines) with every update since 10.11.3. Reverting back to 10.11.3 solves the issues. Have tried various settings in CLover like "slide=0" Also reinstalling the HD3000 in Multibeast. HAven't found the fix for this yet. thanks, Jav
