Update: I'm an actual clown and didn't hit syncronise after I saved the text. I'll try again now and see if it works as others with the same codec on other forums are saying that 3 is the number that works

I’ve also just setup the voodoo PS2 Kext which has worked straight away perfectly, nothing is shown in the network pane still though and system report shows “no Ethernet cards”

Aah I see, will the Ethernet device automatically show up in network preferences if the Kext has worked?

I’d already deleted the fakesmc entry. Upgraded the Realtek Kext but still the same issue of it not showing up when I do a kextstat (that’s after rebuilding the next cache)
