I can confirm that putting SSD in other NUC10 with BIOS 0055 could make thunderbolt work again with the same EFI. The difference is in EC Firmware - 03.09.00 (after update to BIOS 0055) and 03.11.00 (after update to BIOS 0057).

Thankx, konsti, for reply. I will get back on this weekend - have an idea what else to try. Though, it's just to confirm an issue, not to resolve :( I have 2 more NUC10 - i7 at home for HomeAssistant & vCenter & i5 at work I will replace the SSD's on i7's, the other one work for a long time so...

Embedded Controller & Management Engine respectively. You have ACPI table loaded that renames H_EC to EC what MAC OS looks for. I pretty much sure that some changes in EC causes my hack not to boot. EC - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embedded_controller ME -...

curious - Does anybody alive here? :) I was running my NUC10 for a quite long time in a good state following all OS upgrades till the latest 12.5 until I moved to BIOS 0057 that also updated EC & ME firmware (update was longer than usual). These have brought me to the following: 1st - the CFG...

Here is the last I use But please check in config.plist what is enabled before comment. Some stuff wasn't removed during the tests (as well as in your EFI) and they were just disabled to load/execute

Mine, I've posted it here and use it with no changes since last post. I'am on last Big Sur now. Everything is OK in general, but I seldomly restart NUC.

SSDT seems a compilation of what we'd posted here. Anyway I will check, thanks. There are NO changes for framebuffer. I don't see, sorry. Here is the original device_id's - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000024311/intel-nuc.html

Exactly. I haven't scrutinised pierpaolo2395's EFI so far, but first look wouldn't find something extra we didn't know here. Framebuffer isn't native, audio isn't native, what reason to use USBinjectALL and then to limit USB ports by USBport.kext... The only interesting stuff for me is the use...

Hi, guys! I was out for recent time though every missed posts have been read (I hope). I do updates of OpenCore (and kexts used) & MacOS regularly and I haven't experienced much troubles which could worth to mention. The funny thing is that there are no any significant steps in making NUC10...

Regular update under latest Catalina (Installer.app). All kexts I use are loaded. Before update I read here trying to estimate the chances to be stuck somewhere and the only two issues I was worried about were SATA controller support (I have a second drive that is SATA) and troubles around...

Hi, guys! Just to share my migration to BigSur - it was surprisingly smooth. All apps I use seem to work fine, except Little Snitch (upgrade is needed). Many thanks to Dortania team for great work.

Device_id is known - look here under NUC10 tab (Hardware ID column in table) 0x9BCA for Graphics should be supported by WhateverGreen (look here in appropriate section, under Native supported DevIDs: / CML). Once 0x9BCA investigated by developers probably there will be new framebuffer for NUC10...

Hi, Konsti! Would you please explain the need and origin of these AMLs? That's OK when you don't load Thunderbolt ACPI tables. This AML was brought in this thread by dolgarrenan and there is a chance he will modify it to perfection. At the moment the only issue I experience is the need to...

I have the same behaviour for my TB3 dock station - it works when re-plugged after OS is booted. This is TB3 ACPI related and needs to be improved.
