I just found this tool today and used it to solve problems I was having going from 07.2 to 07.7. I used it on a alternate disk first before my primary. Now I am going to use it on the primary drive. Still keeping a backup USB bootdisk just in case.
I wish I had it when I went form 06.x to 07.2.
So I had the same problem at first. What I found is it is better to download it to a USB drive, or some other hard drive that you are not booted on, and run it. For ex: I downloaded the package onto a 250GB Hard drive that I was Not booted on, and upgraded the other drives that way.
Thanks you! I guess the scenario I was thinking of was building a new Hackintosh or for some reason every single Super Duper hard drive and backup i have fails and I need to get a new one etc.
Just wanted to do it right.

All,
I've built my Catalina Hackintosh, and have even updated from 10.15.4 to 10.15.5. Now that 10.15.6 is out, I have a question about the Clover boot USB.
Can I just download 10.15.6 and copy it to my bootable USB? Or do I need to erase the whole thing and start over?

I've just built my first Hackintosh. Hopefully you can see the particulars. I haven't had any serious issues, everything seems minor so far.
The only two things I can't seem to figure out is:
1. When logged in as admin I can't set permissions to the startup disk. In this instance I was...
