I have searched in different forums and this problem is specific to HP laptops with alc 282 codec.

I have installed catalina and bootloader is opencore. But the AppleAlc is not working for alc282 codec. I have tried evey layout id provided in documentation for alc282 but not working. But the voodohda is working. I have attached ioreg file, codec dump, applealc debug log and Efi folder...

Now I am downloading first version of mojave. May be it will work..don't know...

I did it and it take me to same place and situation..

You can see that High Sierra is installing without any issue... Don't know what's happening with Mojave and Catalina..

Could not create preboot error.. I think it is because of file system change..

Trying online method from recovery boot.... Let's check...

I tried Mojave patcher. Tried both hfs+ and apfs. But stuck at same point. I opened terminal while installing. And checked the install path. It is installing but very slow.....

Tried again same problem.. I even tried removing one of the ram.. no use..

I used these kexts earlier..

Yeah I used them earlier but change while installing..

Ok now I used -v CPUs=1 as boot arg And disabled all the kexts except voodops2 and fakesmc Used graphics setting as u told and it booting.. No kernel panic.. Let's see if it install....:crazy::crazy:
