    Unfortunately it seems that what we're doing (hackintoshing) is something likely short term. Apple will indeed shift to another CPU architecture whether for performance reasons or for monetary gain. That move seems to be towards ARM as their high performance per watt designs are embarrassing...

    AMD deserves all the success they're having. Intel had been stuck on the 14nm production process for it's CPUs since 2014. Their attempt at shrinking their CPU dies to 10nm wasn't reliable and had terrible yields. So they've only announced stable 10nm production of upcoming CPUs sometime in...

    They are treated as one drive to the OS. RAID drive systems are "generally" used to make a much larger, faster drive out of many small drives.
