Attempting to boot into "Install macOS" leads to prohibitory symbol (10.14.6)

(Hopefully I posted this in the right forum, I apologize if it went elsewhere) I am trying to install Catalina (10.15.6), up from Mojave (10.14.6) on my computer. I was able to download it and begin the installation process as normal. However, when I reboot my system and attempt to load into the...

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

Take a close look at the config.plist and make sure everything is the same as in mine. The framebuffer patch is really the only thing that determined whether it worked or not, which can be seen under the "Properties" tab at the bottom of the "Devices" page. Again it was the prebuilt patch that...

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

I’ll get you my config.plist (or the whole Clover folder if you wish) as soon as I can get back on my computer. All I did to fix it was use the prebuilt framebuffer patch that Hackintool has for the Gigabyte z390 AORUS Master. It works excellently save for a very brief graphical glitch that...

[GUIDE] General Framebuffer Patching Guide (HDMI Black Screen Problem)

I actually did install the Clover bootloader onto both the USB and the partitioned SSD. However, despite reformatting it, the BIOS still incorrectly shows Ubuntu (which I had installed temporarily) as a boot option, which when selected leads me right back into the boot menu since it’s no longer...

[GUIDE] General Framebuffer Patching Guide (HDMI Black Screen Problem)

I'm having a slight issue while attempting to boot using this config.plist. First off, I'm on a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Pro Wifi, and the only output available on it is 1 HDMI port. I managed to boot into it using HDMI by using a fake platform ID (19120000) and found that my HDMI port uses 0x00...

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

I updated my post. I've gotten 10.14.6 working but the graphics issue hasn't been resolved. I've tried countless solutions and nothing works. Please, I beg for some help here. I've gotten even iTunes working and a much faster boot time, this is my last obstacle.

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

I updated the clover folder and got rid of the other problems since they weren't graphics related. Added some extra kexts, don't know if I need them. I am so confused...I just need a bit of help here, I can't find what I need for the life of me, despite literal days of trying to figure it out.

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

Well the About This Mac section fixed itself somehow. Graphics also changed to "8MB" after I reinstalled my GPU. Tried "IntelGraphicsFixup.kext" but it didn't work. At a bit of a loss right now.

    << Solved >> Mojave 10.14.6 9700k "Display 7MB/8MB" (Intel UHD 630)

Hello again. So I've finally gotten sound and internet (via ethernet) working perfectly on my setup, so I'm very excited about that. I've also gotten Windows installed without issue. My final obstacle is to get my integrated graphics running properly. I've tried many different combinations and...

<< Solved >> Unable to access High Sierra installer, shows prohibited symbol when loading

Finally got it to boot and install! Here's how: In the Clover installer To install High Sierra: Options -> ACPI patching -> Debug (After reboot when install finishes) Boot into OS X: Options -> Binaries patching -> Debug No kernel panics or prohibitory symbols after that, I was able to create...

<< Solved >> Unable to access High Sierra installer, shows prohibited symbol when loading

Sorry, one last final question, and again I appreciate your help. The installer stopped at "2 minutes remaining" and restarted with the HFS loaded on the SSD. Is that something to be concerned about?

<< Solved >> Unable to access High Sierra installer, shows prohibited symbol when loading

Okay, I spent the last hour and a half trying to remember the settings I had to boot into it because I screwed up the drive, and am back where I was. I'm sorry, I know this is a complete noob question, but I can't seem to find the forum search function...where would that be? NVM, found it...

<< Solved >> Unable to access High Sierra installer, shows prohibited symbol when loading

Okay, so some good news and some bad news. I was finally able to get it to boot into the installer. I erased my hard drive with Windows on it and repartitioned it (since it'll be very easy to reinstall) and went to install High Sierra. It rebooted back into Clover so I selected the HFS drive...

<< Solved >> Unable to access High Sierra installer, shows prohibited symbol when loading

Hello all. I am brand new here and I am also brand new to Hackintoshing. I have finally built my custom gaming PC that I've always wanted, replacing the iMac that I am currently using. However, since I have used a Mac for the last 8 years, I want to be able to install OS X on it to use as my...
