    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

I've done the same, and my Watch unlock works sometimes, but not all the time. Seems to work more consistently with other things than the MacOS lock screen, e.g. unlocking Strongbox and System Settings. What I really miss though, that never works, is Universal Clipboard.

You're running with iMac19,1 in SMBIOS. AFAIK you will need to have the iGPU on for that. I use iMacPro1,1 with no iGPU and have working acceleration and DRM.

I was confused by this older message, but no biggie I'm not gonna bother I'm good on F9i and don't play that much games anyway. Thanks!

Hi! I wanted to try enabling resizable bar support to see if game performance in Windows improves, but I can't seem to find the option in the BIOS settings. I've seen some posts in this thread that suggest F9i should have that option, can anyone confirm (and tell me where I can find it )?

@Inqnuam I'm still having the problem with HackinDROM, where updates don't include my custom usb map and revert to SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7.aml (mine is called SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7-CUSTOM.aml). After every update I have to add my custom file back and switch the active one in OpenCore...

Yes, remove that entry, then add the attached SSDT. I found it in this thread. This is of course for 5700 XT only. Mine is a Sapphire Pulse, no idea if make/model has any effect.

I tried using the DeviceProperties method of fixing my 5700XT in 12.3 (from the post linked on page one), and it worked. But it lead to kernel panics waking from sleep (power play something something error). Removed it and went back to the SSDT method which works flawlessly as far as I can tell.

macOS 12.3 Update Causes Problems for 5700/6800/6900 Graphics Cards

I had the same problem on mine but found that when I copy the file to another location and select that it works, so I'm guessing there's some caching or something. (I'm using the SSDT though, not device properties.)

I've also added this SSDT and it seems to have fixed everything. I found other SSDTs for 5700 XT too and now I'm curious if it would be possible to optimize the system more.

iMacPro1,1 hasn't helped with the backgrounds, and I found it actually seems to be HEIC decoding that's glitching, the same artifacts appear when opening the files in Preview (though not in Affinity). HEIC photos from iPhone are fine, but all HEIC previews load super slow (png, jpg et cetera are...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Installed it last night and woke up to find some weird graphical glitches. The desktop background is messed up (parts swapping places and stuff), and Geekbench Compute dropped to 50k from 75k (5700XT). Decoders are available and everything else *seems* to work, but I'm gonna try switching to...

Sorry for the late reply. My custom file literally didn't show up in the updater flow (the screen you're showing there). The regular version had the blue button active: I left it that way and turned off the green button. The fix was super easy so I didn't bother taking screenshots or testing...

@Inqnuam Just updated from 0.7.4 to 0.7.6 with HackinDROM and noticed a small bug. I have a customized copy of SSDT-UIAC-DESIGNARE-Z390-V7.aml that HackinDROM has kept enabled while leaving Casey's version in the folder but disabled for previous updates, but this time the update process didn't...

@jjsenecal Nice setup! I started dipping into Unifi last year with an AP and a switch, and was considering a UDM to replace the old Time Capsule (bye old friend, it's been great but it's time to part ways). But many features still missing in the the Unifi controller and too many reports of users...

Curious! I recently swapped the other way and have the opposite experience. Ran a new Geekbench 5 Metal test just now and the result increased by quite a bit. Got around 74k on iMacPro1,1 and now around 82k.

Got TV app working with defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA gvaForceAMDKE -boolean yes but no luck with Netflix and Amazon in Safari. Not a big deal since I rarely watch anything on this machine, but would prefer if I could get everything working

No sorry I wasn’t clear, I meant I booted my regular system with 19,1. Which meant having to log in again on iCloud and other accounts. But when I said everything works I seem to have spoken too soon. Now DRM seems broken in Safari and the TV app :-/
