    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Yes, it is flashed via Raspberry Pi, and there were seemingly no issues doing that. Cold reboot has brought back the Thunderbolt configuration in BIOS, and my UAD interface seems to be connected from the interface lights. But opening the software shows it’s not connected. When I look at system...

I'm seeing something strange after updating to OC 0.8.3. I had previously flashed my Thunderbolt bus and done the DROM, everything working fine in 0.8.2. I updated and experienced some crashing after I sign in to macOS. I figured OK, roll back to the previous version and things should be fine...

Since upgrading to Monterrey I seem to be having some issues with MacOS thinking it has run out of memory or behaving as if it has but from what I am seeing there is plenty of overhead. Most of the times it is just happening in the background but I did get the error message below and it looks...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Yeah I had a bad link somehow, I got to it and got the DROM for my board. I took most of the peripherals out and disconnected from the motherboard as I needed to organize the case a bit anyways but did leave the board in the case. Once I had the right pinout from the Pi to the clip reading the...

Got the firmware flashed and working successfully, woo! Looks like the HackinDROM website is down, sadly. So I will have to wait for it to come back up for the DROM piece but thanks for your help!

Does the mobo still need to be powered on or no? Should I be splitting the cable from pin 17 to a Y or not?

Hi, @CaseySJ. I'm planning on flashing my Thunderbolt bus on my Z390 via a RBPi4 for improved thunderbolt performance from your instructions here. I just want to be sure I have the process clear beforehand. Should I be using the supplemental procedure with the Pi or no? Specifically just looking...

Would someone mind taking a look at my system? I'm having kernel panics I can't quite figure out. I just did a clean opencore installation with 10.15. It seems to always happen with Safari but even when I never open it if I'm working on music production in Ableton sometimes the graphics will...

Hey y'all, can someone help me in trying to diagnose why my system is freezing? I'm not sure if it's a graphics issue but it seems to be. The screen freezes but doesn't restart so I'm not sure it is a kernel panic? Any ides how to troubleshoot and diagnose? i9-9900k, Z390, rx580, OC 0.7.0...

I'm not using sleep, to my knowledge I have usb port limit patched and usbinjectall configured but I'm not entirely sure. I followed THIS guide and thought it would all be configured properly. Where would I go to verify those two are configured properly?
