Ok got it installed and on 10.14.6 like butter...BUT....can't get Clover to boot to macOS by default. it still has the preboot options in there and I need to select MACOS as the option each time. I have tried using CC and selecting LastBootVolume with no luck. All the help is greatly...

good call. going to try that route. I watched it do the "instalL' and after about 10mins it went to the white installing update screen then immediately to black. Will boot to macOS and download combo update

Ok i ok it freezes at the black screen with Apple logo and bar when I select boot macOS install from Macos. Boots if I select boot macOS from macos i have options like boot macOS install from preboot and boot macOS install rebooted from preboot

it worked! Finally got it to boot without the USB....however... It boots to clover with like 6 different options to boot to. I choose boot macOS to macOS and it boots. There is an install options, will that complete the update?

ok I was able to reboot using the USB. it went to my 10.14.5 installation without updating. how can I fix my EFI folder?

Just tried to update my nuc8i7 to 10.14.6 and get stuck at 23min remaining for hours. Booted verbose and this is what i get .... How can i save my system??

Updated to 10.14.4 success. We’re good!

This working like a charm! Thank you all. Booted from USB Mounted EDI Installed missing drivers (why do these get erased when updating clover?) Rebooted into 10.14.3 just fine.... Now to try 10.14.4 update. Stay tuned!

I thought i did all the necessary pre-reading and work but still am stuck. Trying to update from 10.14.3 >.4 was on clover 4701 I backed up my clover and drive to an SSD, removed said SSD and booted from the m.2 drive in my nuc8. updated clover through clover config and rebooted. Nothing...

Got it! For some reason I had 2 EFI partitions due to using an old drive as a scratch disk for Plex and Photoshop. However, trying to change from iMac16,2 to Macmini8,1 but when booting the system thinks its a iMac 2012.

Well I got the system to finally boot directly to macOS. But when i changed the NUC8 to Macmini8,1 the system booted fine but showed a 2012 iMac vs 16,2??

How can I change from iMac16,2 to Macmini8,1? Just loaded a new NUC8 following your's and clics guides. (THANK YOU) 2 issues - can't set the system to just boot to macOS and can't change to Macmini8,1. Tried with clover config by mounting efi and saving but nada
