    He switched to opencore at some point. Both methods are working, but if you need to adjust your config because your E744 is not exactly the same, clover is much more comfortable.

    Start Clover in Verbose Mode (-V) and post a photo of the screen before the system reboots / halts. As Feartech said your zipped EFI Folder would also be helpful to resolve this. The "prohibited sign" is often caused when the source disk / stick is not readable.
