Hey I had the same issue and I solved it by updating the BIOS... I could have sworn it was already updated but turns out it wasn't. Check that out.

Hi everybody, I'm checking out the existing patch named "battery/battery_HP-ProBook-4x0s-G1", which btw inside of it indicates that's compatible for HP ProBook 4x0s G1, and HP ProBook 4x0s G2..... Does anybody know if it's compatible with HP ProBook 4x0s G3? Thanks!

yeah my bad, I mixed up concepts (boot to USB with run install from USB)

I'm pretty sure the 2nd post has 2 mistakes when referring to the clover boot into usb installation... I think the 1st time only is to USB then hard drive... right?
