Yes the fresh Ventura is crashing / rebooting so I thought the problem must be in the EFI. I will try again following the 0.9.2 mini guide. thank you!

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

Hi all. Your help would be much appreciated! I had a good working Big Sur install on my Designare Z390, and had been keeping up to date with new versions of open core and Big Sur updates. I upgraded to OC 0.9.2 and then tried the Ventura upgrade in place. Unfortunately I started getting random...

<< Solved >> Spinning wheel while checking Software Update on Big Sur 11.6.2 and OpenCore 0.7.8

My ports were not out of order, but I had 3 NetworkInterfaces.plist files, the other two with the basic name plus an extra term. I deleted them all and restarted and software update is back in gear. this is on my z77x th build.

Full Acceleration for Intel HD 3000 and older NVIDIA Graphics in macOS Catalina

I followed your guide exactly when I ran into the AMFI denying core dump issue. Except I am running a freshly installed 10.15.6 and a freshly built v17 of the patch, but I'm only getting HD2000 with this same motherboard you have with just integrated graphics. I also have the same...

    [Updated] Stork's Thunderbolt Build: i5-3570K | GA-Z77X-UP5-TH | GTX 760

Hi @UtterDisbelief I finally tried a reinstalled mojave, and updated hackintool, uninstalled FakePCIID_XHCIMux. Still not seeing 15 USB ports activate in Hackintool like they do for Stork's Build. But IORegistry and Hackintool seem to be matching up. I'll attach screenshots. Either way it seems...

    [Updated] Stork's Thunderbolt Build: i5-3570K | GA-Z77X-UP5-TH | GTX 760

Interesting. I did remove this ktext which I think I had installed with Multibeast. Just like you said now those USB3 ports are back under the XHC in IOReg. I'm still getting good speeds with my 60MB/sec CF card over USB3. Also Hackintool now recognized 2 of the 6 USB ports in back, but only...

    [Updated] Stork's Thunderbolt Build: i5-3570K | GA-Z77X-UP5-TH | GTX 760

Thank you for taking a look @UtterDisbelief :) I tried going to CsrActiveConfig 0x67, but Hackintool shows the same behavior. Attaching Screen Shot of Hackintool, Ioreg output, config.plist, and screenshot of ktexts on EFI and /L/E I tried my USB 2.0 card reader with a 2GB SD card "Small USB"...

    [Updated] Stork's Thunderbolt Build: i5-3570K | GA-Z77X-UP5-TH | GTX 760

Hi Stork. Great Guide! I'm running into trouble using Hackintool to make an SSDT for the USB ports. :banghead: I installed the four rename patches with Hackintool, but now when I plug in my USB device, it has no effect on Hackintool, I can't see any new active ports. I have the padlock open...

[TOOL] [Generate Proper Problem Reporting Files]

any idea about how to fix the ACPI dump warning? I did do the F4 properly, I think. I do have 2 items in EFI/CLOVER/misc/ and 15 items EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin/.

[TOOL] [Generate Proper Problem Reporting Files]

Yes I'm getting the same error on my 2011 H67N Build. But I did press F2 and F4 and I do have 2 items in EFI/CLOVER/misc/ and 15 items EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin. hmm... This tool works on my Z390 build. Except I do have to do the IOreg manually. Maybe the H67N is failing because it's a legacy...

    VBoxHfs-64 vs HFSPlus

I'm setting up my Z390 Designare. I was trying to copy files from a z77 Yosemite build using SMB file sharing in the finder and it wasn't working. I was able to send files form the z77 build to the z390, but then the finder kept crashing, after force quits and restarts, on the z390 when I tried...

    [SUCCESS] Gigabyte Designare Z390 (Thunderbolt 3) + i7-9700K + AMD RX 580

This is a beautiful thread @CaseySJ !! My build is looking good, but I've tried everything to get the HDMI port working. I've read this thread, I've done the Framebuffer patching, and it matches what's suggested in a number of places, but still for me I get a black screen after Clover over...

Fenvi T919 slow speed after wake from sleep

I'm just working on my new Z390 build, and this seems to fix my slow WiFi after Wake-up from sleep with my Fenvi T919 card. My local router pings would go from 2-3ms to 200-300ms and 8% dropped packets. So far, they seem to be staying in the 2-3ms range. Thanks @interdasting !!

Hi Success with a fresh High Sierra install. I got a working Mojave install, but was having trouble getting clover to work properly. If I copied my USB EFI partition to my SDD EFI partition, I had a limited resolution. And then I came across this post that Mojave no longer supports...
