    Thank you. It turns out it was my RAM, I upgraded to 64GB of Vengeance low profile RAM, which turns out is compatible with my mobo, but not with the macOS installed. Once I switched back to Crucial, it worked fine.

    When I go to the App store to download Mojave, it doesn't give me the option of downloading the installer. It only offers to install it on my HD. Is this what I should do? Or install to the USB drive?
