Finally I managed to get it works
I refer to this https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339175-brcmpatchram2-for-1015-catalina-broadcom-bluetooth-firmware-upload/
Then download kexts here BrcmPatchRAM_Catalina.zip
Replace EFI/Kexts/Other with 3 files...
If you had installed macOS 10.15 beta, you can't update to official build since the same build number.
You can clean install with USB installer, but if you want to keep you app and data and lazy like me, follow this way to get it done.
First you need to access to a Mac or macx86, then go to App...
Thanks, your tricks "Power off, remove power cord, press power on button a few times" works for me. Getting Hand-off back, but Sidecar is still not working. Disconnect with error 32002.
Update (not so) successfully on my i5, Z390 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ac + but it killed my card BCM94352Z - DW1560 Broadcom. Only WiFi alive while Bluetooth dead.
I had managed to boot it up with BIOS patch.
But after install DW1560 card, only Wi-Fi works, BT no working.
I try to figure out but no luck. May be relevant to USB patch?
Congrat to @rj510
I am going to build with same parts:
Asrock Z390 PHANTOM GAMING ITX BIOS 4.0 :(
INTEL I9-9900K + COOLER MASTER AIO 240 COOLER
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 SDRAM 3200
COLORFUL SSD 120 GB
WD BLACK NVME 250 GB
Sadly I can't boot either USB for fresh install...
Hi @pastrychef : congrat to your build.
I also have i9-9900K and getting too hot with CPU full load (HandBreak, 7zip,...) with Cooler Master Master Liquid ML240L.
Did you have any issue with hot CPU? your Noctua NH-D15S cooling CPU to how many degree while full load.
Thank you.
@nloth Congratulation for build. Me, too, to start to build new PC after almost 17 years (with 1.7Ghz and 40GB HDD).
For shutdown, if your familiar with Clover Configurator, you can try as mine:
Acpi, check fix USB, fix shutdown (after 10.14.5)
Boot. arg: -f -UseKernelCache=No, slide=0
Hi @kerlo420 Your tip works! You save my week! Confirm to fix GA Z390i on Mojave 10.14.4.
Edit: sadly not solve completely.. I still got No-GO. But after switch Verbose mode I can figure out most often issue is so call "Kernelcache" issue.
add -f UseKernelCache=No to boot option looks promise...
It is quite easy.
If you worry just disconnect Win SSD, connect OSX SSD, once your Hackintosh working well, reconnect Win. You can let clover to manage Win and Mac or use bios F2 boot option.
I am wrestling with Shutdown and Sleep/Wake too.
Trying FixShutdown=false, darkwake=8 but get shutdown properly once only.
Let me know you are success.
Hi @markoskz
I am new to new Hackintosh. My experience is Snow leopard on my old laptop Lenovo duo-core some years, I can't remember.
My 1st build Z390 I AORUS PRO WIFI | i5 8400 | RX 580 8GB, and I use MultiBeat for post installation.
Most of things are working but I can't get shutdown or...
Hi, I am managed to install with a Kingston SSD on Nucintosh then move it to GA Z390i, then configured it successfully with Multibeast, only small thing is not capable to get 4K 60Hz (reach to 30Hz only) on Monitor while getting full 4K 60Hz on Nucintosh and Windows 10 on the same machine.
My...
@RehabMan Thank you a lot for guide. I successfully had built my NUCi5SYH with your guide.
Only HDMI/DP Audio not working.
Any suggestion for simple patching? I go through many guide but not quite success. Thank you.
@markoskz First congratulations to nice build and tutor.
I have same main board GA z390i but with only HD630 and Samsung NVMe 970plus and not successfully installation yet.
