I would prefer the BCM Card because you can use Handsfree, AirDrop and iMessage with it.
For the AC1300 USB I needed to install a Kext because it was in Beta for Catalina at this time.
I actually got everything figured out.

I will upload it again at the weekend because I will do some clean up
I got WiFi/BT working today with a new Apple BCM94360CS2 Card in my big 2280 M-Key to Apple Card Adapter.
Continuity /AirDrop works fine!
I don't know what to say more, the system is done and ready to be used, everything...
I have two different ways to plug it in and BT works in neither way.
That's why I assume it has broken BT.
With the DW1820 in the delock adapter BT and WiFi work in windows.
Yeah I have exactly this one.
But I can't get the Dell DW1820 to boot under Catalina. No matter what kexts I use.
And the Original Apple Modul I bought seems to have broken BT. :(
I have attached everything I tried so far.
Btw. DW1820 worked fine under Mojave
Strange, why doesn't it work for you?
Do you have iGPU on?
What are your BIOS Setting?
Do you have WEG running or not?
Boot Argument inserted?
We have very similar setups running...
Thank you for this Thread, I will give this Adapter a Try.
Had no luck with BT on a Direct BCM943602CS to M.2 M-Key Adapter with USB Connection.
Unfortunately I just have a M.2 E-Key for CNVi and have to use the M-Key for WiFi you lucky guy having a real M.2 E-Key Slot.
You have to know the M.2 or NGFF like you call it, has several different types.
Apple uses an own Connector Type that has basically the same pins in a different layout.
I assume you have a Apple Card to M.2 A+E Key Adapter. (Pics will help)
This A+E Key has PCIe and USB Connection what is...
Mostly that there is no cheaper Mini-ITX Case then the Streacom DA2 that I like. ;)
I build this System around the Case because I think it's the most apple like on the market.
I would use something else if there would be something that's like the Streacom DA2 but with support for a ATX PSU and a long GPU.
As far as I know, there is nothing else that gets both of this things together.
I'm running the bigger Jonsbo mATX for my Intel HEDT (10-Core 7900X) Windows...
Yes with these two KEXTs :)
You can not see the a exhaust for the PSU because the case has no extra exhaust for the PSU.
It blows a lot of hot air inside itself but still is the only Mac-Like looking Mini-ITX Case I know.
Everything else looks to much like a PC or like Gaming.
This is sleek...
This sounds like your System Definition is off!
I had the same troubles over HDMI in the beginning with my Mini PC.
Try to find a System Definition that fits more to your CPU type, I first had macmini Definitions Running but had problems, then I found out the MacBookPro works way better...
I just tested the backside port with my NVMe SSD, and it worked fine.
The Adapter for the DW1820 came today but I haven't got it to run. As soon as the card is in the slot macOS doesn't boot anymore. No matter if AirportBrcmFixup kext is installed or not.
Maybe I will give it a try later or...
If you run WEG it's very important to use the right system definition because WEG uses the CPU Configuration of the choosen System Definition to choose the right iGPU Settings.
If you use a System Definition for a Mac without a iGPU it will not work.
the iGPU even works worse if you choose the...
