One issue I've come up to with a similar build and this Z390 is a lack of USB headers. (Is that what they're called?)
My PCI WiFi/Bluetooth needs it or power. My RGB fans need it for power, and the front of my computer's USB drives need it for power. I think something else I'm forgetting as...
I'm not sure how to search IN the thread, so I'm not sure if this was asked: should I install the Designare mobo drivers off their site and all that? Or let Windows take care of it with the drivers update auto thing, etc. ? (For my Windows 10 Drive, separate boot)
So, I was successful but it required making an installer within Windows. No matter what I did, for some reason making the installer in MacOS just does not permit me to install Windows properly.
Okay, cool. Well I ended up reformatting the whole drive and installing Windows as if it were all I had. Dual booting by choosing at BIOS right now. Might work to integrate it into clover soon but I'm not stressing it.
That being said, if that Bootcamp EFI was still there, I understand it won't...
Is this... facetious? I'm asking if anyone is getting system hangs. Ze issue is... system freezing. The other stuff was .. just a side comment? I don't know. Information?
Is anyone getting weird total hangs now? A total sound-looping must-restart freeze. Update seemed to go through fine. Processor is i9900, still displayed as i7. iMac18,3 is sysdef.
So, Question (it's actually in the next para. - this is background): In order to create my Windows installer USB booter, I had to use Bootcamp in MacOS Mojave: I created a bootcamp Windows installation on my second (Windoze) SSD. When it was installed, from within that windows I created my...
holy ****. it ****ing installed over my existing mojave. oh my goooood
*edit*
Nevermind. Alright. We're good. Jesus. That icloud re-do on entry, etc scared the crap out of me.
I'll try using Rufus in mac again then to make the USB from an image I download from microsoft and try that.. I think I did once though, and it wouldn't work. We'll see.... Right now I'm struggling because I can't get friggin' Netflix or Hulu to paly. Oi.
I was thinking about doing that (disconnected mac drive, straight up installing windows normally on the other drive plugged in... and just choosing my boot order from BIOS on boot--I don't change often so not a huge issue) , so perhaps I will. If I do that, then the Windows will just show up in...
Well, that was even my intention when I used Bootcamp: I just used Bootcamp so I could have access to Windows in order to create a proper USB Windows installer. And it's sadly looking like I'm going to have to do that again, because I don't have access to a legit windows machine right now :\
