Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro - native WiFi+Bluetooth

Hi all! I recently ordered Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro (i7, 16gb, MX150) and right now I am looking forward to receive the package. I have some experience with hackintosh and want to dual boot with Catalina and Windows 10. However I want to solve the WiFi+Bluetooth issue without an external adapter...

Help with WiFi adapter - Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" 2018 (i5 8250U)

I am a bit confused.. This laptop is wonderful, but there is the WiFi issue.. The older model had custom wifi module support, but it's silly to buy a 3 years old laptop just for this.. I think I will go for this 2018 air model with external usb solution, at least for the first days to see how...

Help with WiFi adapter - Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" 2018 (i5 8250U)

First of all thanks for your interest! So I can't just place m.2 wifi module in the sata3 slot. If I understood correctly, you mean that I can't place the existing preinstalled m.2 SSD in the second m.2 sata3 slot because it doesn't fit there (different m.2 keys), so I need to buy a new sata3...

Help with WiFi adapter - Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" 2018 (i5 8250U)

Hi all! I'm about to buy Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 13.3" i5 8250U (2018 model) and I want to install macOS in it. From what I read so far, the only unsolvable problem is WiFi.. As the installed Intel WiFi isn't supported, I was thinking about going for the native solution, which is a Broadcom...

    << Solved >> Kernel panic when I connect GTX1060 (i5 8400, Mojave 10.14.4)

Finally figured it out!! Made some changes in config.plist and now it can run with Intel UHD630 1563mb graphics although the GPU is inserted for the Windows partition. In BIOS I used IGD 64mb option and not PEG.

    << Solved >> Kernel panic when I connect GTX1060 (i5 8400, Mojave 10.14.4)

Hi all! I just managed to make a working hackintosh running Mojave 10.14.4. My CPU is i5 8400 and I use the intergrated graphics in order to get full acceleration (Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB). The problem is that I have dual boot with Windows and I want to use my GTX 1060 there. So, when I...

[HELP] Can't get Clover read my SSD

Hi all and thanks for your interest! My SSD is internal attached with SATA cable. What I have done so far is: I have tried different cables and different motherboard ports but nothing changed. Although BIOS recognises my SSD, the whole computer slows down and lags very much, for example opening...

[HELP] Can't get Clover read my SSD

Hi all! I am trying to install macOS Mojave on SSD. I had hackintosh with High Sierra before but sometimes I had issues opening clover on boot (the same problem as now I think). The problem is that my clover bootloader can't read my previously APFS partitioned SSD. I have tried many times with...
