Hi, I was able to install Yosemite more than a month ago. It's been successful up until now. Tried booting -v and it got stuck here (see screenshot). I can boot using flags -f -v. Please help me figure this one out. Thanks!!

Thanks Adrian B! I've never used an Nvida card as this is my first and only setup. If I used one of these cards, would I still be able to use 3 monitors? As of now, I use the display port adapter and I had change the framebuffer to Kudzu to get the 3 working but my card reads 6xxx.

found the solution. had my usb unibeast plugged into a usb 3.0 port. switched to a usb 2.0 and now i'm up and running :-)

Hello, I've been following this Moarfish's guide since day 1. Always been successful. Now I'm trying to install Yosemite and I keep getting the "circle with slash" after it tries loading on the "apple screen". I've tried -x and GraphicsEnabler=No but still the same. Any help is appreciated...

any chance for a 6870? i tried this. only 2 monitors working. hdmi port not working. if i use kudzu frambuffer on this kext or the stock kext i can get 3 but the card reads as 6xxx.

I also tried to use the Unibeast with the SSD drive that has the new Mavericks installation and it works. So the bios must be ok. With the SSD drive that has the ML installation, if it's connected, nothing works. Even the Unibeast USB doesn't work. I only get the "Loading Operating System"...

Yup!! Bimbo69 patched kext works for me!! Back to Duckweed. No more 6xxx as it reads correctly now (6870). 3 monitors working HDMI included. Thanks for this!!

thanks fishcow! unfortunately, it didn't work for me. the last patched kext i used was on 10.8.2 from bruno21 and i was able to use duckweed with 3 monitors. i had to revert back to kudzu to get my 3 monitors going again but my card reads 6xxx.
