yes im using opencore 0.79 you can see the release version in the upper or lower corner when the installer boots, if you still see remnants of clover is because your EFI partition is corrupted or not deleted properly, you may want to reformat the EFI partition only or do another USB preferably...

I can provide my EFI folder. I successfully installed Monterey 12.2.1. However, it will not boot on higher versions. I do not know why. I'm using the P7P55D which is very similar. I'm on opencore 0.7.8 with the legacy BIOS installed.

I have a nice setup with opencore 0.7.8 legacy boot BIOS (not uefi) on a asus P7P55D running Monterey 12.2.1 Took me weeks to get it going but i would say 95% works so far far only 2 things dont work
1- sleep that i barely use
