Heads up for those upgrading - using HD46000 iGPU and 4K displays - if you lose your 4K/hidpi resolutions, even after upgrading WhateverGreen/Lilu/AppleALC (and removing the installations under /L/E) you should make sure to run sudo kextcache -i / to rebuild kext caches.

sudo kextcache -i / did the trick... 4K back to normal

Thanks — yes that’s why I removed them from /L/E and installed the latest into kexts/Other but seems like it’s not loading.

I had set my system to MacMini6,2 and that won’t work with egpu. So set it to a system that such as iMac as I mentioned. That worked immediately for me.
