do you have any wake or sleep issues? i´m asking because the frambuffer you´re using of the UDH617 has 3 ports in total (1 internal, 2 external DPs) and you didn´t disable the second external port. did you disable the second port in another way? maybe that could be an issue for my HDMI black...

is the ec rename via config.plist not working? I had problems with it to but on opencore. But please update it, as it actually could cause serious issues to other laptops, see here: https://github.com/khronokernel/What-s-new-in-macOS-Catalina

You probably can improve the battery life with CPUFriend + CPUFriendFriend.kext I saw you are using a SSDT-EC, this is highly not recommended to do on Laptops, as it could disable your real EC and harm your machine

You probably need to patch the lid0 device in your DSDT. I’ve almost the same laptop and reliable fixed lid sleep this way.

for the mute key issue: layout-id 15 works for me, this fixed the mute key actually muting the sound. and for me (but this may be subjective) the sound quality seems to be better. YMMV so make sure to try other layout ids regarding the "installation" of kexts: if you look in the r/hackintosh...

@erinviegas For your issue with the mute key not actually muting the volume. I had a look at your EFI folder and you’re using using the wrong AppleALC layout ID And in general, you’re giving some really bad advice in your guide. Never install any kexts to /L/E, always leave them in your EFI...

@Sniki could you manage to get 4K over hdmi working on your Lenovo V330 with the LSPCON patches? I think my Lenovo Ideapad 330s 15ikb is quite similar, but I thought 4K would not be possible without higher DVMT pre-alloc.

Tried that but didn’t help, somehow VirtualSMC doesn’t work well for me. Could you already resolve the acpi error during boot? Googled a lot but couldn’t find any solution or guide how to handle acpi errors that don’t prevent a hackintosh from booting.
