    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I would try the latest 10.15.2 beta, I had a XFX 5700 XT, and it was super stable on beta 3. I then returned that card and moved to a nitro+ 5700 XT. I was having issues where it would sometimes not boot. On beta 4 it seems rock solid. I'm also using OpenCore.

What changes are necessary from the OpenCore EFI folder for 5700 XT support? I am already on the latest developer beta.

BTW, if anyone is having issues with idling causing a crash as I was, I updated to the latest developer beta, and it no longer crashes after idling. Sleep does cause a crash now though. Looking on Apple's forums it looks like this bug is also occurring on real Macs after Catalina, so I don't...

@pastrychef Should integrated GPU be turned on or off if I am using your lastest OpenCore EFI as is (with my serial and stuff put in). Thinking back that is the only BIOS setting I have changed. Since switched to iMacPro 1,1 with your latest OpenCore, I thought it was supposed to be disabled...

@pastrychef If I let my machine idle for more than a couple of minutes it locks up. I get this trace on startup: panic(cpu 2 caller 0xffffff7f842eead5): userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from com.apple.WindowServer in 140 seconds service: com.apple.logd, total successful...

@pastrychef I updated from your clover mojave EFI to Opencore and Catalina and everything went smoothly. The only thing I've noticed is that the about this mac page shows that I have a Vega 56 rather than a Vega 64. I'm guessing this is superficial and doesn't matter, but any ideas what would...

@pastrychef I just purchased the same mobo and cpu combo you are using. I am not planning on delidding though, do you think that the asus z370-g can handle 5.0Ghz on all cores? Also do you have a VRM fan installed / have you measured the VRM temps?
