Update looked alright at first, but then left me with the mouse stuck top left corner on login screen, no keyboard input. OC 0.6.9 with latest kext.
Anyone else? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!
there's a solution..see https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/regular-crash-freeze-of-finalcutpro-with-rx580-on-mojave-dumpguprestarts.279987/#post-1983213
Absolutely happy with the 19,1 SMBIOs and iGPU enabled! FXPX is flying with a much better RX580 utilisation than ever! YAY! so happy...plus no more crashes...
For those of you that are stuck on imacpro1,1 smbios... a workaround is to create proxy media in FCPX...reduced the crashes for me!
Bluetooth on the Asus Mainboard worked in IOS, but very unreliably. A shutdown had me go back into Windows (i run dual boot), then into Mac to make it accessible again. For Wifi I went down the route of buying a usb dongle, which annoyed me as the speed i was getting was slow plus it took some...
Hi there
I am experiencing frequent freezes working with Final Cut Pro:
the entire system still reacts but is almost impossible to use as everything is in slow motion
It started to occur more frequently the bigger the final cut project was getting.
What i've found out since posting that there's...
FACING the same issue here running latest Mojave and RX580. Tried many different things without success. Seems to occur at GPU intensive tasks.. very annoying.. did you manage to get it fixed?
Don't apologize :) I knew it was equipped with a wifi bluetooth card (running dual boot). The bluetooth is recognized in MacOS (Intel obviously instead of broadcom). I did try to disable the card via bios settings, but that didn't change anything. I am excited to see what the Fenvi will do.. ;)...
Thanks a lot for all your support! And you're absolutely right, I could use technical support. I am not really strong with hardware to say the least :)
Maybe you have somebody to give you a little technical support, a sort of hardware expert. I have concerns that you damage your Z390 mainboard...
Thanks donkiel for getting back.. I guess I was lucky not to have ruined my board. In the meantime I went ahead and got the same PCIe adapter card as you, couldn't really use the antenna with my broadcom chip (as too small and cables wouldn't stick to the chip), but took the antenna out of the...
I disabled the onboard intel wifi/bluetooth card in the bios, but it didn't make a difference. I've got a feeling its port related. I connected the PCIe adapter card (see screenshot), and it's giving me two lights when I turn the computer on.. so something seems to be working (red and blue...
Got the Wifi now working...stripped out the antennas from the 2012 MBA and attached it..it's a bit of a hack..but i guess this is a hackintosh... wifi now working...next on to the bluetooth... which i guess comes down to understanding the USB ports..
First of all thanks a lot for taking the time to read through this post
I purchased the PCI-E Adapter ZYX-360CD and own a BCM943224PCIEBT2 from an old 2012 MacBook Air (see screenshot)
After connecting the card to a usb port my 10.14.5 Mojave recognises the card, however I am not able to...
Hi there
First of all thanks a lot for taking the time to read through this post
I purchased the PCI-E Adapter ZYX-360CD and own a BCM943224PCIEBT2 from an old 2012 MacBook Air.
The BCM card fits in, but I can't attach the cables for the antenna, besides I am incapable of fitting this PCI-E...
Hi there!
After having spent many hours doing component and installation research, I am about to order to following components to build my first ever Hackintosh. There's one thing however that I couldn't get my head around and could use your help.
With the motherboard highlighted below, which...
