Hey Hausmeista,
you might take a look at my build description. There you can find my solution (different darkwake settings). For me it´s working with darkwake = 0, sometimes he still doesn´t want to go to sleep but that´s okay for me ;)
I hope it also works for you.
Hey there ;)
i used the original Apple keyboard when installing OS X the first time and that´s the keyboard i´m using now...
I´m very satisfied with my build at the moment so i will not test your tip, but thanks for the tip anyway i hope it could help someone else. And i´m glad it worked out for...
Hi unit24,
the performance is very impressing and yes, everything is working properly also QE/CI.
I really recommend that card, especially when yoo have a double boot with Windows for gaming :-p
Hey ho nodarkthings :-p
Yeah, i changed my GPU from the Geforce 210 to an AMD 6870. To get the Geforce working i did nothing special just on install i had to improvise a bit as you can read in my description ;) In Multibeast i just installed the NVidia plugin for Fakesmc...
No problem. Thanks mate ;)
Edit: haven´t found a solution for my sleep problem yet :(
Edit: I updated to the new FakeSMC plugins and installed the LaCie USB3 kext. Also i added darkwake=12 to my boot.plist again and sleep seems to work. Yeah :D
Thanks mate for your recommendation. It´s still booting directly into OS X but sleep still isn´t working correctly. It goes to sleep and directly wakes up. Same when going to auto sleep :(
As far as i know the graphic resolution string is for setting the right resolution for your boot up...
Hey,
nice to hear that ;)
As you can read in my updated build description, sleep isn´t working for me (anymore). I´ve installed the newest version of ML (10.8.2 with incremental updates) and the F9 bios. So it´s the same setup as you have.
Maybe something went wrong in my boot.plist?
<?xml...
Hey saganian,
sorry for the late answer ;)
The HD 4000 is working with ML, that´s right. But when using build-in graphics it often comes to glitches etc. So i recommend you to use a GPU like you mentioned in your post. But before buying you could try using your DVI port ;)
If you´re going to buy...
Hey goldglover39 i´m happy to hear that :headbang:
As far as i know GeekBench is only for CPU and Ram testing. If you want to benchmark your GPU you have to use Cinebench :-p
The performance of the Nvidia is really great for the every day usage like web, iPhoto and Skype. No bluescreen or so :) If you own a CPU with HD3000 or HD4000 you could use the internal graphic unit :thumbup:
@nodarkthings:
:D no problem. Maybe you could give it a try. if it doesn´t work with...
Hey nodarkthings :)
i´m currently using the DVI port without any adapter, so i cannot say if the VGA port is working ´cause i can´t try it.
If you don´t need that much graphic power you could use the build in HD4000 with the HDMI, DVI or VGA port of your Z77 board.
Hope i helped you out :mrgreen:
