    Mac Mini-esque Mini-ITX build

Well I am an idiot.... Just realized what I did when I was updating clover to the newest version.... I apparently went through the "standard" update/install process instead of going through and doing the customized install and modifying those items in the UEFI installation. Just went through...

    Mac Mini-esque Mini-ITX build

Right?! That is all I can think of, something must have been corrupted during the installation of the updated version of clover to my hackintosh drive... Maybe I missed a step when I was doing that update and I need to go back through my steps. I had planned on doing this and then updating to...

    Mac Mini-esque Mini-ITX build

Thanks for the help but the AptioMemoryFix-64.efi file was still present. I thought possibly it had been corrupted at some point and replaced it with the one from my bootable thumbdrive. However, this did nothing.

    Mac Mini-esque Mini-ITX build

Ok question for everyone... Running into an issue as of last night when I updated clover to the latest build (4910) in Mojave 10.14.3. This morning I walked out and apparently my hackintosh tried to reboot at some point and now is getting a kernel panic that will not let it get past the initial...

    Mac Mini-esque Mini-ITX build

Hey, I have finally upgraded to 10.14.3 as of this morning and things seem to be working just fine. No issues with wifi or bluetooth (don't use wifi as router is right next to box). Only gripe I have is that there is no bluetooth continuity at clover selection screen so I have to either plug in...

    erik's "Tiny But Mighty" HTPC: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac - i5-8400 - UHD 630 Graphics - High Sierra

I had the same problem when I downloaded the above linked clover folder. You will need to use Hackintool to clear out and reset your USB ports. I believe the clover folder already has USBInjectAll.kext in there so once you clear the ports with Hackintool you should have all discoverable (will...

    H370, B360 and H310 motherboards

Exactly. Problem is that we need to get someone (electrical engineer for computers/mobos) with an understanding of how the CNVi chipset is actually being setup. In my very unprofessional review of a few documents talking about the CNVi chipset, my gathering was that the CNVi chipset actually...

@AppleiPad556 here is the link. I found it while looking at my thread on the other forum. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-gigabyte-h370m-ds3h-i5-8400-mojave-10-4-2.267428/ I literally just took his entire clover folder and replaced mine. Everything is working for me, bluetooth, wifi...

    erik's "Tiny But Mighty" HTPC: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac - i5-8400 - UHD 630 Graphics - High Sierra

Yup will do tonight when I am home from work. It is setup for an H370 Gigabyte board but aside from having to go through and re-enable all my other USB ports and do the cleanup with hackintool everything else works perfectly from what I have seen.

    erik's "Tiny But Mighty" HTPC: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac - i5-8400 - UHD 630 Graphics - High Sierra

Sorry hadn't been getting much traction on this thread up until about this week so had somewhat given up on forum responses. Setup is pretty much exact same as Eriks ASRock Z370m-itx i5 8400 UHD 630 integrated graphics swapped over to Broadcom 2z chip for WiFi/BT However, I was able to get...

So are you using any other injections than that? I have placed that information previously in clover settings, added the device information to Properties and then added the platform and device IDs in graphics but still had not acceleration.

What are some good Mini ITX cases under $100?

One thing you are really going to need to pay attention to is whether or not you plan to run a PCI-E graphics card or not. There are multiple cards out there with lots of dimensional differences. Once you have that figured out then get a case that will accommodate the card and the rest of the...

    H370, B360 and H310 motherboards

Yeah agreed and nothing concrete from what I have read, just enough warning signs and red flags that if you are wanting to use an integrated m.2 type card your best bet is to go with another board or go with a USB stick that does both. After doing my reading, it was enough that I decided to...

    H370, B360 and H310 motherboards

No you are right I didn't. I didn't simply because the hassle of it "potentially" working was not worth it to me. From everything that I was reading on CNVi, the wireless portion is actually built into the chipset that is integrated into the board. The part that the antenna attach to is more of...

    H370, B360 and H310 motherboards

It would have required the m.2 NGFF adapter card to then fit one of the required M.2 Type E Broadcom cards to handle WiFi/BT. There is only one M.2 slot on that board so users will then be required to use only standard SATA connected HDD/SSDs. Also he may be referring to the standard B360...

Yeah, you have yourself setup for about 18 USB ports there. So, any of the Blue ports on the back are actually USB 3.0. The only ones that are actually 2.0 are the two above the legacy PS/2 port on the far left. As for me. I have everything working and stable except for graphics acceleration...

    Bluetooth For High Sierra

Ok yeah that will work, didnt see that... Looks like it is a PCI-E x1 2.0 slot.. You will need to do some research to see which one of the Broadcom (or other) cards will work with that. Don't have one particular one that I know of but there is a thread about Broadcom card and think that would be...

    Bluetooth For High Sierra

No extra PCI-e slot for card, no onboard wifi... you are gonna have to go with something like This.

    1440p monitor recommendation

1440p monitor was just to bring things up to a more current state outside of 1080p. No need for a 4k display as most of the "decent" ones will be over $300 mark. The 2k, 1440p monitor was a good compromise and with regards to watching things like youtube in full screen, that rarely happens. As...

Have you go through the Hackintool and actually denoted the "type" as USB3? and the broadcom one you will need to denote the "type" as Internal.
