    @Junologue, I've checked sleep - 1.5 hours of sleep without wake-ups.

    @Junologue, I don't use sleep on this machine but I can check it on Monday and report back. What options do you want - auto-sleep by a timer, manual, or both options?

    Check the last 10-15 pages here. This CPU is not the best option as far as I remember.

    No, the minimum supported macOS was 10.13.3 for these components. And the best version for your CPU is Mojave because this CPU appeared in iMacs/MBPs with Mojave only.

    According to @kgp's experience with this controller, hot-swap should be working w/o connected USB cable to the M/B. Also, check the latest file for TB from @kgp's github repository.

    Hey @Wrenchenomics, How is your Thunderbolt detected in Windows (Device manager) - 1577 or 15D2? If it's 15D2, then I can't help because I have the same issue with these controllers - they are working (although, sometimes an additional restart is required) on Windows, you can see it on macOS...

    Hey @valvator, Set CPU type to 0x0F01 in config.plist via Clover Configurator (as already implemented in my files). If it's not working for you for some reason, use @kgp's method (section E.10) System Overview CPU Cosmetics in his guide, the link is in the 1st post).

    Hacks with TB are used as music production machines, so UAD Thunderbolt cards are always connected.

    Hey, the last time ('ages' ago) I was checking it, it worked w/o a USB cable connected to the motherboard. For now, I don't need it since only one Thunderbolt device is always connected to my hack. We don't use FCPX, so I can't say anything about it.

    Edit SSDT for GPU using @kgp's main guide. But I've tested Vega 64 (MSI AIR Boost 8G OC) in 10.14.5 w/o SSDT and there were no issues (although, I've might not test all possible scenarios).

    The link is in my 1st post. There is a complete guide for x299 M/B and one section is dedicated to Vega' configuration.

    It seems, there is an issue with the sleep. Disable it and check for crashes. If there are no crashes, check the @kgp's guide for tuning Vega card in the system to solve this issue.

    Hey, I haven't tested any i7/i9 9xxx on this board, so can't tell you what's wrong. But new CPUs require at least 1602 BIOS. It might be the source of the issue because BIOS 1602 and 1704, according to other messages in the original @kgp's thread, caused issues with macOS. Try to enable "Above...

    Introduction Hey guys. After I’ve recently built some new hacks for myself and my colleagues, using this marvelous @kgp guide and help from my “far far away” friend @Il.F, I decided to write this ‘lazy’ manual. It’s for those people who don’t want (or can’t) do it by itself using @kgp’s guide...
