    Catalina Nvidia eGPU load issue

Yeah, the Apple-Nvidia war is a widely known fact. So that's why I tried to launch Catalina without physically removing the PCIe graphics card. After getting tired of useless -wegnoegpu key, I just decided to manually change "auto" mode to "iGPU" in BIOS multi-screen settings each time I switch...

    Catalina Nvidia eGPU load issue

Hi guys, The problem I've been encountering for many-many weeks is inability to load with discrete 1050 ti graphic card. I've installed High Sierra a couple of years ago but after the annoying messages of 'update to Mojave' and then '...to Catalina', I installed it through the offical update. It...

    Catalina 1280x1024 resolution from iGPU

I've copied the drivers folder from the USB--nothing have changed. So finally, I've replaced the mac BOOT and CLOVER folders with the USB ones. Now the mac sees the monitor. Let me also see, what will be in the nearest future, 'cause I haven't managed to make a dual gpu boot yet.

    Catalina 1280x1024 resolution from iGPU

OK. So the problem is not the DVI-HDMI 'coz I've loaded Catalina with the USB Clover (High Sierra installation UEFI) and the macOS driver determined my monitor, showed fullHD resolution, suggested scaling and so on. Then I copied all the kexts/others and config.plist to the mac. But the issue...

    Catalina 1280x1024 resolution from iGPU

I managed to change it only by writing in correct numbers of ScreenResolution in config.plist. Thus, the only possible and default resolution now is fullHD. But what can I do with the black lines in the Safari ribbon?

    Catalina 1280x1024 resolution from iGPU

Hi guys, Here's the issue: (have found smth familiar in the forum but not exactly the same) Got Nvidia 1050 ti. Worked in High Sierra. Know that's not the way in Catalina, so after the update tried to take off the discrete GPU. Connected the monitor to the motherboard using DVI-HDMI adapter. The...

    Front Panel Audio Not Working

Ah, OK. Thanks for making it clear. So are there any hopes/instructions to work out this hardware problem with AppleHDA?

    Front Panel Audio Not Working

Hm... that would be strange 'coz the front panel jack worked in High Sierra. Though there were a bit different "sound devices" on the menu bar. Smth. like "line-out (green) rear", "line-out (green) headphones"--the one that sounded from the front panel--simultaneously, plus some other. And it...

    Front Panel Audio Not Working

Thanks for the answer. Yeah, changed the Audio ID to 1, actually, the rear panel still works, and it's OK)) Installed AppleHDA & disabled some DSDT patches, which I've added while installing VoodooHDA. Now, the digital line-outs (HDMI) appeared. But that's the extra information... So, I guess...

    Front Panel Audio Not Working

Guys, got the same problem after update to Mojave on my desktop. Couldn't find correct kexts at first to get my analog sound outputs working, only the monitors' HDMI worked and the line-outs have shown up just a couple of times in about a month. Then, I deleted all the main sound kexts...

Nvidia Drivers for Mojave 10.14 Not Available, no WorkAround works well

Well, at least now I can look at the display, as it shows the normal HD picture. So, still thanks, yet it's easier to wait.

Nvidia Drivers for Mojave 10.14 Not Available, no WorkAround works well

I would also like to know, if it's Nvidia's fault why cannot Apple make normal default macOS graphics driver, which can at least display at normal resolution and not at 1280x1024?

Default macOS Mojave Graphics Driver Resolution problem

Yeah, I know about the problem with the nVidia drivers in Mojave, but isn't it possible to change resolution in default macOS graphics driver?

Default macOS Mojave Graphics Driver Resolution problem

Hi, guys! A bit new to Hackintosh, mostly thanks to Apple, 'coz after updating from High Sierra to Mojave, my Nvidia web drivers ain't working anymore. So when the OS starts, Nvidia driver switches to Default macOS Graphics Driver. That's why the Graphics is shown as "Display 5 mb", but the...
