I managed to change it only by writing in correct numbers of ScreenResolution in config.plist. Thus, the only possible and default resolution now is fullHD. But what can I do with the black lines in the Safari ribbon?

Guys, got the same problem after update to Mojave on my desktop. Couldn't find correct kexts at first to get my analog sound outputs working, only the monitors' HDMI worked and the line-outs have shown up just a couple of times in about a month. Then, I deleted all the main sound kexts...

Well, at least now I can look at the display, as it shows the normal HD picture. So, still thanks, yet it's easier to wait.

I would also like to know, if it's Nvidia's fault why cannot Apple make normal default macOS graphics driver, which can at least display at normal resolution and not at 1280x1024?
