@Elias64Fr,
ASRock Thunderbolt 4 AIC just arrived from the Netherlands! The good news ends there... :(
The Macronix flash ROM on this board is turning out to be very difficult to read. Although flashrom detected the chip a few times and read the contents, the contents are corrupt.
In your...
Both are good choices and both will work. The 6950 will require a device-id spoof typically via SSDT. The 6900 XT should be plug and play. Both will require boot argument agdpmod=pikera
There is no NHI0 in the device tree, which is very odd. It should be under DSB0 as shown below. Some questions:
Is the correct Thunderbolt SSDT enabled?
Is the old Thunderbolt SSDT disabled?
Please try cold boot (shutdown, flip power switch on PSU to OFF for 15 seconds, then power up)
Is the...
I see -- in that case we cannot use SSDT-MAPLE-RIDGE-RP05-V2.aml. Instead we need to use the attached SSDT (also posted earlier in this thread).
The file OriginalFirmware-AsusUSB4.bin is not Thunderbolt firmware. There should be another 8-pin flash ROM somewhere on the Asus TB4 add-in-card that...
With Asus BIOS files we can run a simple search like this:
And extract the Raw section:
Unfortunately, this did not yield any results in MSI Z690 MEG ACE BIOS.
Ha, no worries!
We just need to disable SecureBootModel before installing a macOS update. We can start the update from System Settings -> General -> Software Update even with SecureBootModel enabled, but before macOS reboots we should disable SecureBootModel.
Good to see the independent discovery of this solution. FYI, we mention this in the Sonoma Mini-Guide:

The arrows are pointing to two different checkboxes. Simply click on the image for a full screen view. You can also download the image from full screen view and magnify it.
If you're using the Asus Z690 ProArt EFI that I posted yesterday, it is configured to use Intel WiFi, but not Intel Bluetooth. If you do not have a Broadcom WiFi/BT module such as Fenvi FV-T919 and are relying only on the Intel M.2 card that is preinstalled, then we can enable Intel Bluetooth by...
I was referring to GC-Maple Ridge.
I’ve had good luck reading flash ROM on GC-Maple Ridge. Couple of suggestions:
Ensure that all 8 pins of SOIC clip are making contact correctly. Sometimes the back 4 pins are misaligned, so we have to carefully seat both the front 4 pins and back 4 pins
If...
Although we can, my experience on Z690-I has been dismal. Please see:

Your mileage may vary so feel free to try it.
That version of OpenCore is not compatible with Sonoma. Must upgrade OpenCore. Please see this guide (also linked near top of Post 1):

@Aresexe,
No additional changes to the EFI are needed. However, “SecureBootModel” is disabled in config.plist, which is necessary for installing macOS. This can be switched to “Default” now, but should be disabled again when the next macOS update needs to be installed.
The Asus XG-C100C...
