I'm having the same problem with macOS 10.15.3 on my XPS 15 9560 with DW1560 and Watch series 5 except that mine doesn't seem to randomly reconnect

You should use the dw1560. What usb to Ethernet adapter do you have?

It works perfectly, the only issue I'm having is with the touchpad which doesn't recognise any gesture. (I have installed all the kexts provided in your clover folder in /L/E)

http://dosdude1.com/mojave/ you can use this tool to download a Mojave setup file in order to make a bootable usb drive, there’s also a Catalina version if you’d like to give it a try

@blazinsmokey Tb3 usb are working fine without UsbInjectAll.kext, that kext is only needed to get the laptop built in ports to work, probably that’s caused by the switch to MacBookPro14.3

Ok thanks. I'm not using FV2 but I'm still going to wait to upgrade lol. I also just noticed that on your plist airdrop, continuity and sidecar aren't working with dw1560. Do they work on your machine? Specifically wifi and bt are working, macOS is showing an airdrop panel inside finder and I...

I just diff'd your config.plist with mine and there were only some differences, the biggest one was that mine was MacBookPro14,1 and yours is MacbookPro14,3 now tb3 works fully, I just have to install UsbInject.kext in order to get functioning builtin usb ports @Sammy1881 do you mean this kext...

Ok, at least usb3 works fine That’s normal, a workaround is disabling tb3 preboot support following instructions included in the zip file, then it should work even if booting with tb3 cable connected

That’s strange because Ethernet is over usb3, can you try plugging an usb3 flash drive in one of the 3.0 ports in the tb16?

In fact usb3 and Ethernet (for Ethernet I needed to install drivers from the Realtek website) is working for me, the only problem is when I try to connect something to the usb2 ports or even a usb2 device to a usb3 port. I verified with other people having a genuine MacBook and it seems to be...

Just got everything working on Catalina by using @LeLunZ Clover folder, now I’m having some issues with usb 2.0 ports on my dell TB16 but the 3.0s are working fine, in order to get Ethernet to work I only had to install this driver. EDIT: The problem is with every usb 2.0 connected to the dock...

I don’t have any usbc 3.0 devices to test, I only have a usb c 2.0 hub, but the problem isn’t with usb imho because iirc usb on my tb3 dock is on a pci-e controller

Have you tried cold plugging the tb3? In that case I get not functioning usb3. Regarding the applebacklight kext in fact I removed it a couple of months ago after I read about it on the internet.

I just noticed that it panics if I hot unplug the dock, but not immediately, after 2 to 3 seconds and in the meanwhile it isn't frozen, kind of strange... EDIT: if I hot plug the dock both usb3 and dp are working, but usb2 isn't. Modified attached files: now tb16_coldplug is the result I get if...
