    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

FYI, I checked USBports.kext in the latest few OC EFI uploads (0.9.3 and 0.9.5) and it seems to contain data from an entirely different motherboard to the Z370-G. I had to go back to 0.8.9 to find a relevant file. Not sure it's a bug but I thought I should report it... cheers

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I do use the Fenvi T919, so I guess I'm going to have to go through the USB mapping purgatory... Thanks for all clarifications!

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Thanks for your reply. Indeed, ResetNvramEntry.efi is one of those three drivers I selected! USB mapping: If I remember correctly the Z370-G is ideal in the sense that if you ecxlude 3 out of 4 internal USB sockets (one is used for bluetooth) you're left with just 15 sockets. I thus assumed...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi, I'm migrating my Z370-G build from Clover to OpenCore 0.9.5 (and from Mojave to Big Sur) by following Dortania's guide from scratch. My installer EFI is essentially ready, with only USB port mapping to do. While getting into the world of port mapping I realized that a ready-made OC EFI is...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi pastrychef (and other 'brother/sisters in build'), after running without a single issue your fantastic build for almost two years, today I started preparing to upgrade my hackintosh from Mojave 10.14.2 to 10.14.4 (a risk that I had to take due to some software that requires it and that I...

    True, I hadn't noticed that!

    Fenvi FV-T919 Wifi/BT card At Newegg.com for $51.99

I finally got mine working with bluetooth as well. I must agree with you: BT range is quite limited. I wonder whether the 4 antennas are used for BT or only for wifi?

    Fenvi FV-T919 Wifi/BT card At Newegg.com for $51.99

Did you get Bluetooth working with the Fenvi T-919? I installed mine yesterday. Wifi is working great but bluetooth doesn't see any devices around me (however the Bluetooth pane appears and the card is recognized as valid Bluetooth in system report... very weird.

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I Right now I've only used a PC keyboard connected via USB. Haven't been able to test my apple bluetooth keyboard or trackpad because no devices appear in the list. May it be related to a BIOS setting?

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

For some bizarre reason this list of exclusions completely inactivated bluetooth (the systems's preferences panel wouldn't even appear). So I tried to edit the plist to exclude HS13 and reactivate HS14 and bluetooth came back. I don't understand this because I'm sure that I plugged the bt cable...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hi again, I figured that the Fenvi's T919 bluetooth cable is plugged into usb port HS13 so I want to keep that alive. My best guess is that I need the following line: uia_exclude=HS07;HS08;HS09;HS10;HS11;HS12;HS14;SS07;SS08;SS09;SS10 I'm attaching my config.plist (actually it's your latest...

OK thanks, I'll dig into the USB ports map and try to figure out which one is that I want to keep for Bluetooth. Then I'll post my plist file.

Excellent Maestro!!! I did as you recommended and ALL front (2) and back (8) usb sockets are now working. Also ethernet is working! Is it possible that bluetooth is not working yet because I plugged the PCIe card's bt cable into a deactivated usb port on the motherboard?

Now it begins to make much more sense, thanks a lot for all this info! So essentially I could just pick from your EFI folder and move things to /Library/Estensions/ ?

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I've just completed assembly of a variant of @pastrychef golden build. Mine differs in that I'm using the Z370-G Gaming non wifi version, a Sapphire RX570 pulse ITX and a Fenvi FV T919 wifi+bt PCIe card. Given the hardware differences from his build I installed Mojave 10.14.2 following the...
