i am having problems installing certain software,i get to the end of installation and then installer fails.the software i'm trying to install is an apogee duet 2 audio interface,and NI massive.currently running 10.8 mountain lion...this is my audio workstation and need to get my duet 2 to...
yes the latest version of chimera boots up without any kernel panics,but i still get audio dropouts.i have to change the sample rate in my interface to get sound back..then it goes out again.
my sound is cutting out after a few minutes of use.i used the latest dsdt for my board's bios which is f9.
sound interface is a presonus firestudio project with latest drivers.ALC8xxHDA.kext,and AppleHDA.kext were installed thru multibeast 4.5.2.what kext do i add or remove to get this working...
my bios does have an option for ide or ahci.the drive only shows up in bios when its on ide.
chimera will not boot windows regardless of what option i choose in bios.this is a fresh install of w7.

i installed the new lion driver for my presonus firewire firestudio project.
my firewire card was working fine,i hope we can get this sorted out.i need to make music :headbang:
i recently upgrade to lion..i had a dual boot snow leopard and windows 7.after the upgrade my windows 7 won't boot.i i use chimera and i can see the 100mb partition,but when i choose it my screen turns black and pc resets.
i got mine to work :D ....my monitor has dvi and vga ports.i used a hdmi to dvi adapter and it went from hanging apple screen to booting up.still not working with the vga port,hope someone figures it out would be nice to use the vga port.
i was just about to post about this.i have the same problem everything looks good in system information except my graphics..it says no kext loaded and only 64mb shared memory.my board is GA-H67N-USB3-B3 using VGA port.
