Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing well. I had successfully installed Big Sur in my T470s and everything was working fine until last night. This morning when I turned on my machine there was no audio in speakers but it was working until last night. Still it's working when I plug in my...
Updating the kexts worked for me. My bad, the kexts were old. I updated to new releases and it worked.
- Bluetooth is working fine now.
- Slow boot issue fixed, it's booting normal.
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate for you time and guidance.

Just found this, can you please check "Firmware Compatibility" section as this thing is directly related to one I am using.
I couldn't get what's exactly being said there.
- Without DSDT battery indicator doesn't work.
- Slow booting happening when I used AirportBrcmFixup.kext
I will try these things now and will post update soon.
- Boot time is still 5 minutes. Can you help me in checking this?
- Regarding bluetooth now it is showing as
Built-In: Yes
but still I am unable to access to bluetooth.
I have removed the followings:
Kexts: SMCDellSensors.kext and X86PlatformPluginInjector.kext
Boot: debug=0x100
But boot time is still the same.
I will check this bluetooth guide now, thanks for that.
Thanks @Feartech for the guidance. I really appreciate it.
Wifi works now. I have tested DW1560 and DW1820A both but still couple of issues:

2- Boot speed is too slow, it takes exactly 5 minutes at Apple logo screen ( attached )
I...

With T470s it is being detected fine without
AirportBrcmFixup + FakePCIID +...
Hi,
I am facing lost audio problem when external headphones are plugged in. Let me explain the scenario.
- Audio works fine with internal speakers all the time.
- Audio gets lost if I use external headphones and pause the audio/video for sometime ( can be 2-5 minutes but not specific sometimes...
I'd not recommend you using DW1820A as I was finally able to get it working somehow but it made the system unstable with Kernel Panics and frequent reboots. I then opted for DW1560 and it is working great, no issue whatsoever. So my first choice and recommendation would be DW1560.
Alright, upgraded to Mojave from USB. It restarted the laptop a few times but upon installation completion it got kernel panic and rebooted automatically at Apple progress bar loading screen multiple times. Manually shutting down from power button did the trick and next time it booted to Mojave...
Thanks for the suggestion. ApfsDriverLoader*.efi+AppleImageLoader*.efi work for me as well.
What would you recommend for upgrading, USB or App Store? I just want to keep my apps and settings intact.
