I'm using the shikivga=12 boot flag, but unfortunately the crashing is back for me again, after I rebooted again. I'm starting to feel like it's very sporadic/random, per session.

I can boot into safemode without any problems and I've already installed Trim Enabler (and can confirm that Trim is enabled). But after leaving safemode, I'm stuck on the beachball and system logs always have a line (or multiple lines) about the NVDA driver crashing.

Just a heads up that this doesn't work for GTX 550 Ti (device id 1244). Most of us are still getting the NVDA timeouts, which means that the OS hangs. Some of us get them immediately after booting, some get them while using the OS.

Same(ish) problem, same NVDA channel timeout errors, but I get them every single time I try to boot (just before loading the desktop). MSI Cyclone II here (GTX 550 Ti).

Right, so you've got the exact same card as I do! Could you tell me the steps you've gone through? Ie. which smbios, which kexts, did you modify any existing kexts and all that, just so we can figure out what the necessary changes are and get a working system. :)
