[FIX] Corrupt color depth in High Sierra/Mojave

This fix also fixed my color banding issue on my ThinkPad T470. Funny enough, Mojave still seems to think that my GPU is Kaby Lake.

-HELP- Weird ring like blur and images in Mojave

Spoofing Skylake also fixed my problem with the wrong color depth since Mojave! I exactly followed Sniki's description. My GPU is still recognized as an Intel HD620 though. Which disadvantages does spoofing actually bring? So far I did not notice any, especially since Mojave still seems to...

[FIX] Corrupt color depth in High Sierra/Mojave

Hi, I am having the same issue on Mojave. High Sierra was fine with my native EDID. Sadly your Guide does not work for me.. Could you please post your original and fixed EDID?

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

I tried a lot of different values for the timing, but none worked for more than 4-5 sleep/wake cycles. I solved it using Tlucks fork now, which works perfectly!

[Guide] Laptop backlight control using AppleBacklightFixup.kext

That was the mistake! I simply put my patches into the wrong location when copying them from my old config.plist to one of your new ones. Thank you so much!

[Guide] Laptop backlight control using AppleBacklightFixup.kext

Hi, I cannot get my backlight control to work. It was working fine in High Sierra with the the old AppleBacklightInjector.kext + KextToPatch entry in Clover + the SSDT without any custom EDID injection in Clover. Right out of the box with your patch. So I guess that my EDID is working fine with...

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

Ok, good to know! Thank you! Do you have any idea regarding my SSD?

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

I removed the fake EC, but Bluetooth and my SSD are still not working correctly after sleep. I was referring to this post. I now marked SS03 as UsbConnector = 255 (as it was before). So basically I didn't change anything in my XHC config now. With my current delays for the Brcm firmware I...

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

Ok, I removed it. I did not know that. How could I test which HS port corresponds to the internal SS03 port, which is only connected to the internal USB 3 SD card reader?

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

I added the face EC device because of your hint in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-usb-power-property-injection-for-sierra-and-later.222266/. "Note: If your computer has an ECDT in ACPI, you should not rename anything along the EC path, including the EC itself. Use a "Fake EC" instead...

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

I did, I also mentioned it in my original post. So far I tried: bpr_probedelay=100 bpr_initialdelay=300 bpr_postresetdelay=300, which made it somewhat better, but I still have less than 50% success after sleep. As requested here are the debug files generated with the script. Thank you for your...

[SOLVED] NVME SSD slower & non available Bluetooth after sleep [ThinkPad T470]

Thanks to all the information and guides on this forum I have a nearly fully functioning hack by now except two last problems. A few days ago I noticed that my Samsung PM961 (OEM version of the 960 Evo) is way slower after a sleep/wake cycle. So far I did not find anybody else that had a...

[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

I did some more benchmarking and my GPU finally showed some more P-States. So it really was my benchmarking. I also tried to run it with pluginType=false to see how that affects my machine. And I actually got even more P-States for my CPU. I guess thats because then Apple's...

[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

Sorry, I cannot follow you. Doesn't having only one very high P-State indicate that my iGPU power management is broken/non existent? I expect several different P-States just like with the CPU. Basically I expect results like he/she got during testing...

[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

I did. Just ran the benchmark again to be sure that I didn't mess it up the first time. But I still only get one iGPU P-State, though I got more CPU States this time. (I ran the benchmark in battery mode this time). Isn't it odd that I don't get any output on applelpc and appleintelcpu?

[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

I just ran Cinebench R15 and another benchmark to stress the GPU. In Intel Power Gadget I could see the GPU at 1GHZ, which is its max frequency and my CPU also powered up as expected. But when I check the output of AppleInfoKext, I still only see one iGPU power state. Another thing that seems...

[Guide] Native Power Management for Laptops

Hello, I followed the Rehabman guide to install macOS 10.13.6 on my ThinkPad T470 with an Intel 7200U. While I tried to get sleep to work, I noticed that the power management of my GPU seems to be broken (shows only one P-State in AppleIntelInfo.txt). My CPU also doesn't show that many P-States...
