Oh wow, thanks for informing me of this! I figured the situation was the same as when I last checked. ~July 2019, but I guess that’s been almost a year now haha.

@Ploddles I didn’t skip any steps that I know of, and I did step 14. But I found out that it’s definitely something with my USB, so I’m going to redo all the steps and try again.

So update, @CaseySJ I can boot with those kexts removed if I boot from the SSD EFI, but booting from the USB EFI hangs. I guess I messed up a step on the USB? I guess I'll remake the USB and try again.

@snoby It's impossible to use a Apple Thunderbolt Display with this build. Casey and others have done extensive research and its not possible. I believe they also spoke with Gigabyte engineers.

As far as the damaged installation, how old is the macOS Mojave copy? Recently, all copies of macOS, I think, older than October no longer work.

Thanks @CaseySJ! Just tested it and it worked! Looks like I'm having no luck with the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 5700 XT which someone told me would work so now I got to find a way to get rid of that :/
