Hey, i have installed macOS big sur using opencore. Everything is working except the touchpad. i tried both of the patches, none worked. can you look into the issue please?

Yeah same thing the trackpad was working perfectly fine until I moved to Opencore.

I made the bootloader USB using OC Gen-X. Can you please have a look at it?

Actually I did but got kernel panic. Edit: Solved after booting into safe mode. However macOS Catalina is stuck at prohibited sign with corrupted texts. I installed OC to efi to check if it is USB error but no success.

what kext are you using to make the keyboard backlight worrking?

No I mean fix this manually by patching DSDT and mapping the keys and without using any asusSMC

AsusSMC works for rest of the keys except keyboard backlight. Can this be patched manually?

Did you installed TPD0 _CRS to XCRS rename patch?

Compile the dsl files into ACPI folder and use the patches from config.plist file. That will work I think

Thanks mate. The battery status is working. The only thing that is left is the keyboard brightness toggle. Since I am on Mojave the Rog HID doesn't work. Any idea how to make that work?

I have installed VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID

The rename is present in OP config.plist

For touchpad to work you need to add TPD0 _CRS to XCRS rename patch
