    I followed this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-usb-installer-using-opencore.296375/ and I didn't get this "RecoveryHDMetaDmg.pkg" in my macOS Downloads folder. Edit: I downloaded macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 if this makes any difference?

    hack my real MacBook pro early 2011?

    I have a MacBook pro early 2011 which only supports high sierra. Processor is 2,3 GHz Intel Core i5, and 16gb ram. Would I gain any benefits in hacking it to get newer OS upgrades? And would it be possible? I tried multibeast right of the bat but it didn't work to change anything.
