    Probably need some DSDT patch for your lid. Look in MaciASL and find the lid patch for your model

    I didn’t see SSDT-HPET in your ACPI folder. Also don’t forget to paste and enable the rename created by SSDTtime into your confit.plist I have a guide for G50-80. Very similar hardware maybe it’ll help you out...

    I updated this guide to describe upgrade to Big Sur. Update progressed with little to no problems. I am unable to resolve the touchpad button problems. If you want gestures, use acidanthera's VoodooPS2Controller build; if you want touchpad buttons, use Rehabman's build.

    You can disable the internal USB port of HS08 under XHCI. It’s the one for the internal m.2 port.
