What interface you have?
If you have soemthing with preAmps and ADATA I would suggest you buy a supported USB Interface and countinue using your old interfaces pre amps with ADAT

with: DisableIOMapper - disabled and DisableIOMapperMapping - disabled for FW working
the rest is the same as this post...
I would detach the fw interface cable from from pc
uninstall FW kexts from all companies and types
disable SIP
restart, 2x nvram reset
re-install your fw drivers
enable SIP,
restart, 2x nvram reset
login and see if sys prefs telling something about legacy extensions
shut down
attach firewire...
I am still on Monterey...
But try to disable SIP via OC config (set to disabled) or via Recovery; Restart with SIP disabled, install Focusrite or whatever FW Driver you have; Enable SIP again.
Report if it worked plz
I am thinking myself
I am thinking myself of doing it one last time.
I am currently running an i9 with that build by @pastrychef in the Studio

Hi!
Just to complete this!
The last days I had problems to get the Saffire Pro 40 FireWire Audio Interface on my Ventura Test Drive and also on my Monterey Main Drive with OC 0.9.6 working. Connection established but no audio output as soon as Logic is started, input works…
Tried different...
Just 2 questions! In the 0.9.3 config DisableIOMapper was set to false, now it's true. What's the right setting with VT-d enabled in BIOS? System started with both Settings.
And in OC Configurator in UEFI/AppleInput - AppleEvent is now set to BuiltIn and GraphicsInputMirroring - true, instead of...
Thank you! Worked like a charm after updating from Monterey. Only thing my FW Audio Interface broke after Update; But after uninstalling Drivers, disabling SIP and re-installing Drivers for Audio Interface, now everything works again!
Update!
Did a SuperDuper Clone of a clean installed Catalina with Focusrite Driver, Logic, Logic Library and Plug-Ins, etc. installed; so all working on Catalina; to an external SSD.
From here I updated to Monterey 12.5, launched Logic (10.6.3) after the update and all (Focusrite) is working...
Today I found out, when I go into BIOS when Hack is starting and restart from there, it always detects my FW audio. Just save and exit without making any changes makes my FW audio work.
Audio is back again after CSM enabled.
Also that the Boot loader shows the name of the "test disk" twice after SD cloned to a Disk with another name and in macOS / Disk Utility it is showing the right name, is really strange.
I will do a clean install again and use Migration assistant.
It's...
Ok! Maybe I'll try this route. It's really such a random behavior. Disabled CSM again.
FW audio came back :D RANDOM!
Will try cold boot a last time and see if it stays and Report back!
Didn't solve it. Did NVRAM reset twice before booting into it!
What's strange, too, is that the new NVMe disk is called Monterey HD, but in OC Boot Menu it shows as MojaveHD, the name of my test drive I cloned from... So I have MojaveHD twice in OC Boot Menu.
I am sure a clean Install will...
I did a SD clone to a new NVMe drive, and I have the same issue again on both drives, my test drive and the new NVMe, FireWire audio only works with iGPU enabled.
Report update!
Today tried again with iGPU disabled, FireWire audio didn't work in Logic with current BIOS, which was 3004.
Updated BIOW to latest version, and I can confirm that FireWire audio in Logic pro now works with both settings now, iGPU enabled and disable.
