In my time with this board, there is no mention of CFG lock. Secure boot is an option when you select Windows 8.1/10 setup. I believe it may be under BIOS settings for windows. If you enable the help with alt, you should get an explanation.

Followed the guide here to a T with MacMini 8,1 and machine crashes during install after booting back up from USB to the internal drive.

How did you do on this build? I was not able to get graphics to accelerate even with 10.13.6 Negatively supporting the graphics internally.

Has anyone had any success with this pairing? Scourged the threads and many attempts have not had results in success with latest OS.

Bump...I'd hate to say it but might just return this board and processor as it's giving me a lot of trouble and I'm not getting very far here at all.

Huh. Mine was not as lucky. I’m trying my first full reinstall because I believe one of my many attempts to get things working touched some stock OS kexts in the system folder. Hopefully the reinstall and updates should do since UHD 630 is natively supported in the latest version of High Sierra.
