Never mind, I needed to do a complete reinstall of macOS

I'm migrating from a really old build of clover to your OpenCore setup, but am running into a kernel panic right when I select macOS from the boot menu. Did you happen to encounter this as well? Am using the latest version I cloned from your repo.

Hey everyone, So I updated to Catalina 10.15.1, and I'm able to control the volume, but there's no sound output on my speakers. Does anyone know why that is?

Exams are over, updated to catalina and everything seems to be working fine. Updated my repo. I'm not on iOS 13 so I don't use sidecar.

I already have it in my patched folder. For some reason the brightness is retained only on shutdown and not on reboot

For some reason when I add SSDT-PNLFCFL.aml to my ACPI patched folder, the black screen issue doesn't occur anymore, but the backlight level isn't maintained when rebooting. Using the SSDT-PNLF.dsl included in WhateverGreen caused my backlight to be really dim, but the black screen didn't occur...

It's running on a XPG SX8200 1TB SSD. I also have a PM981 that isn't mounted but can be detected in the system, could that be why?

My Aero 15x v8 is kernel panicing and either freezing or randomly rebooting (depending on whether I had 0x100 debug) and finally I was able to capture a kernel panic. It's unclear but it seems to say something like this: Kernel Extensions in backtrace: com.apple.iokit.IONVMeFamily(2.1)...

So I figured out that it was a kernel panic, but when I boot with debug=0x100 instead of rebooting on kernel panic it freezes, without anything about the KP displayed. How can I fix this?

Fixed those, though the sudden reboots are still occurring. Is there any better way of troubleshooting this? It either reboots just when I get onto the desktop or it never happens again till I reboot.

There isn't even a kernel panic that occurs, it just blacks out and restarts randomly a bit after boot. Sometimes this doesn't occur, but most of the time it does. Anyone else having this problem?

I recently updated to 10.14.5 on my Aero 15x v8. Speakers were working fine on 10.14.1 but now it does not work. I've updated AppleALC, Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext and yet it still does not work. Plugging in a headphone works but no sound comes out of the speakers.

I copied your CLOVER folder to mine, booted it, but I need to change the SMBIOS to iMac18,2 every time for it to boot? how is that

How did you get the BCM94352Z to work on windows? it freezes for me constantly (on boot).

For the audio, I removed the fakePCIID Intel audio one and now the audio works. Just need to figure out the clover boot issue now.
