ok created a thread for the remaining brightness and volume issues

i am having issues with both brightness controls and volume control on high sierra. currently using voodoohda and applebacklightfixup.kext the sound works and the voulme control prompt appears and works correctly .. the only issue is that the volume doesn't change .. the brightness controls...

i managed to make it work ..through a long process of trial and error of trying different itterations of config.plist. Like i imagined the issue was related to my config.plist. still not sure what is was specifically .. just glad i managed to make it work .

i just explained to you that no verbose is showing ..how can i provide you with something that doesn't appear

I recreated a usb clover and it still does the same thing..when trying to boot with the original files i get something to display but i obviously get the prohibit sign like the first time i tried installing mac os.. so i obvously added all the riquired kexts and replaced the original config file...

what's the issue with my profile?

because to be frank with you i created a usb bootable drive earlier and it did the same thing ... it boot directly to a black screen

isn't there a way to fix this issue without loosing my current version of clover ...

ok so i managed to install the nvidea web drivers, the voodoohda sound drivers, but having issues with the intelbacklight.kext driver ..it does the opposite when booting into macos i loose the keyboard backlight and still doesnt allow me to to change to screen brightness. Any idea why?

i managed to install the os. Heck yea. just need to figure out how to install wifi,gpu,and sound drivers .
